I am against armed guards in schools.....as a society it means we are losing the battle to civility....and we are out of control...

Yes we are - and it's been that way for a while. Kids aren't safe at school, and as much as I don't like it the armed guards at schools are a necessary evil. And regular citizens aren't safe just walking on the streets; more publicity is finally starting to come from the news outlets about this "knockout game" threat from gangs of black punks all over the country. Older men and women - usually white, Jewish or Asian - that are defenseless and vulnerable being attacked at random just for the cheap thrills of human debris. These are situations where our carry permits really come in handy.

Shame on us for not making consequences for abusing laws and society so intensely severe and frightening that nobody but the most insane would ever dare challenge them. That's the greatest disgrace of all.

What? Have you been living in a cave or something? Remember the "War on Crime"? We even lock children up for life for silly little victimless drug crimes. Haven't you noticed how DAs charge people with like 10 crimes now when 1 actual crime was committed? It's so they can settle out of court and nearly everyone charged with a crime does time.

I think there's even a crime called "conspiracy to consider evading authorities in the commission of a crime that no one has committed but is conspiring to think about having a meeting to pursue the merits of further meetings on whether or not to consider doing the crime". Of course I probably don't have the wording exactly right.

Why are known violent gangs allowed to walk around unscathed?.....Why are they allowed to "loiter" in public areas?....3 or more constitutes a gang...cops should break them up, tell them to move on or charge them with loitering for a start....

They don't want to stop the crime. It suits their needs right now. Either the People put an end to it or it will not end.
