Closing arguments on Anthony trial

I'd rather see Nancy Grace charged with anything, she makes me ill.

The commentator said many folks were cheering, while others were throwing stuff at the tv screen. I can't see myself doing the former, but if I hear Nancy Grace say 'totmom' one more time, the latter is a certainty.

I think from what was brought up that the jury did their job even though itmust have been hard. There are other charges that they should have pursued against her because with a criminal case you have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she did this which is hard to do in cases like this.

It is a shame that sterilization is not an option in penalty phase. That way we wouldn't have to worry about her having the chance again.

As gruesome as this case might have been, I have to take my hat off to the jury. They went against public pressure to convict, and decided the case on FACTS, or lack of them. They did exactly what their conscience and the law told them, and put their feelings on the back burner.

In the end, the prosecutor counted on jury sympathy. SHAME ON HIM! This isn't civil court, buddy; there are LIVES at stake here. You either go to court with enough evidence to hang, or don't go at all! Rolling the dice, counting on the jury to feel sympathetic to the victim, is what lands innocents in prison.

"Counting on the jury to feel sympathetic to the victim, is what lands innocents in prison" If you go back and read the posts in May (about 11 pages back) you will clearly see that the majority of posters had an open mind to her guilt or innocence.:p

My statement was that if the prosecutors (not just in this case) would stick to facts, rather than tug at the heartstrings of the jurors, there would be fewer innocent people landing in prison. JMHO.

Yet we still never talk about the more than 3000 babies that are killed in clinics everyday in America...

Why is America so outraged about this one?

God help us!!!

Exactly, I don't want to hear pro choice people complaining about this as it was nothing more than a late abortion.

Deputy Richard Cain...............

Again, Deputy Richard Cain....................

Remember this name. This is the name everyone should remember when it comes to how Casey Anthony beat a murder rap.

http://files.realitychatter.com/CA/Docs/Deputy Richard Cain interview.pdf

Roy Kronk, who may be an oddball to most, could have been the Hero who put the steps in play that would've put Casey Anthony on Death Row. But, Roy Kronk just happened to run across the path of a Deputy that didn't want to go the extra mile when answering a call to there possibly being a body in the woods just a 1/4 mile from where a missing child was reported missing from.

Richard Cain did not want to wallow through a little mud to correctly investigate a call. I'm bettin' it was hotter than haitus that August day, probably Humid as all hell, and it irritated him to be pulled from his air conditioned car to go walk through some mud to investigate something a Nut Job (in his mind), called in.

Read the interview above. Pay attention to pages 9-16-24-26. While I am a full supporter of ALL Law Enforcement Officers out there, I do agree there are a few lazy apples out there (NOT ALL as the Monger thinks) This previous officer has lost all respect from this Law Enforcement supporter.

Casey Anthony could have been sitting on Death Row for a couple of years now if what transpired on August 13th, 2008 (2 months after Caylees disappearence) had not had happened.

Deputy Richard Cain...........................

It seems the procsecutor's biggest mistake was seeking the death penalty. Would bet a guilty verdict would have been an easy one for the jury if near life imprisonment was the goal

IMO I don't think so.

I believe that the prosecution just didn't produce the evidence needed to secure any guilty verdict.

The jury didn't finder her guilty of the abuse of a child or even manslaughter....and the lying to the police chares that they found her guilty of are all misdemeanors...their case was weak and she will walk out of the jail tomorrow a free woman and she will become a millionaire within weeks.....got to love our system...

Everyone is dealing strictly on emotion and nothing else.....they could not even say how she died its that simple....just becase people don't like her for how she lives her life, that does not make her guilty.....
