I say they'll convict of man1. Prosecution made a good closing statement. "Who else would better off from Caylee's death?".

Not Guilty of 1st degree murder...guilty on lesser charges....Not Guilty of Manslaughter...Not Guilty of Child Abuse

Told you the case was weak....the jury basically told the prosecution to take a hike...they had nothing....

No Comment...............

The little girl got away with murdering her child, plain and simple.

She'll get at least 5-8 years for the side charges she was convicted of. I hope they put her in General population too. First chance a Lifer gets to submit the punishment she so deserves, they'll do it...........

That will be the day Caylees death will be avenged.

I hope to hell these Jurors Lives are turned upside down for the next few months...............

Each of the lesser charges carry a 1 yr sentense for each, my bet is she gets nothing more the time served...if not that, no more the 1 to 2 yrs as all charges will be run concurrent...but I am betting on time served....

Oh, and so much for her lawyer being disbard or sanctioned....I'll be handling her book and movie deals....

Now you will have a complaint about the money that will be made Greg....

Today is definatly a sad day. I will not sit here and say see I told you so. I know that the punishment that will be dealt to the person (s) responsible for that baby dying will be far worse than anything they could have dished out in a courtroom, when they are judged in the end, where there is only one who decides your fate. Make sure you call, hug, whatever you have to do, your kids or grandkids.

The jury didn't see a lot of what everyone else did, and Casey Anthony just got lucky - had the body been found months earlier [like the first time the meter reader called it in, in Aug] there would have been more evidence. Time really was on her side - but I am convinced that she got away with murder.
Just goes to show: you really never know what a jury is gonna do.

My opinion like in the OJ case the prosecution simply blew it. In this case they never should have went for the death penalty. They offered no evidence that it was manslaughter so the jury had no grounds to find her guilty of that charge.

Of Course...................

Justice was not served for the death of little Caylee Anthony today.

If these Jurors did not believe Casey had anything to do with her death, then who do they think did???

Did they believe the accidental drowning theory and that George covered this up????

Did they actually believe Ray Kronk took her little body home with him for 4-5 months???

Absolute injustice towards Caylee Anthony today.

Ever seen the movie "The Star Chamber" with Micheal Douglas? Gawd how I would Love to sit on a panel of Judges making the decisions they made in that movie. I would go seek out the Casey Anthony case myself if there were such panels like that "in real life". But, as in the OJ Trial, life is not like the movies and we must live with incompetency when it comes to our Legal System and the incompetency we have to deal with when it comes to picking "Peers" for Jury Trials.

Pretty much done here.

From what I know of your justice system, it's not up to the jury to decide who they thought did it, but rather if there was reasonable doubt that the accused did it. Pretty cut and dried to what their mandate is.

I was in a position to watch every single day of the OJ trial. It's not something I'm particularly proud of, but it's one of the few trials I have seen from start to finish. If I were on the OJ jury, I'd have found him not guilty, too, even though I absolutely think (now and at the time) that he did it. It's not what you think or believe, it's not even what you know, it's what you can prove.

Yeah, but don't forget that the movie centered around a wrong decision by The Star Chamber, which called into question all of their other decisions.

it is a sad day indeed.the jury seen more then we did though.there are thigs that the D.A did not release to the public.and if this is not the case, and the D.A released everything to the press then it is the D.A that should be disbared.her lawyer as it turns out knew what he was doing.with even just a 1/2 a % of doubt then the jury did the right thing(not saying they got it right, just as far as the law goes then they did the right thing).I myself think that whole family is screwed up.i never liked the way the grandparents went about the whole thing in the first place.one month the grand mother was for casey the next she was against he,then back for her.

I, like all of you do not know what happend.I like most of you think casey is guilty and got away with it.they found her guilty of four counts of lying.she has been in jail like two and a half almost three years.so she might get another year and a half.of which all will be served in PC.as much as we would like to see it there will be no beatings for her while in jail.If she even get more time.

Lol Scott. You are correct on your thinking. Proven beyond a reasonable doubt is how it goes. This case aside it seems anymore you are guilty until proven innocent
