Maybe. With regards to that link, it just says Romney has been pro second admendment while governor. Some fact some opinion.

What I have read stated that he signed a permanent ban on what some like to call 'assault rifles'.

I think I missed that but he is generally not known as a big pro gun supporter. I don't follow MA politics so a lot of it I would be unsure of.
On the other side of that, I don't think he has sponsored any anti-gun bills

It is the electoral college that places our president even if 19% of the voters vote against the democrats and republicans. My vote for a third party candidate will not be a vote for Obama.

We were never intended to vote for president or our United States Senator. It is the democrats and republicans that created this circus. I am more than happy to vote against it!

The electoral college was created to keep one bunch from electing the president. Without it soon only the major cities would be electing our president and the rural vote would mean nothing.

A third party vote is most assuredly a vote for obama it has the same affect.

He enthusiasticaly supported former Virginia govenor Douglas Wilder,who once elected, cracked down on gun ownership. He also supported a multibillion dollar tobacco buyout. Sounds like a big goverment guy.

It sounds to me that you don't understand the third party vote...

The third party vote to me is about doing what was done in 1992. Turning the debate in DC away from the lobbyists, and bringing the power back to the people. Bringing the government back towards the center.

The one thing that the democrats and republicans agreed about after 1992 was that they needed to get to their base. Meaning the people. Sure the lobbyist system in DC was alive and well, but more was done behind closed doors. The debate changed, and the people who started this change were destroyed. After a few years, it was back to business as usual, and today it is worse than it has ever been from both parties.

It is time for the American voter to turn their backs on these two parties, and make it stick this time. There is no redeeming quality in either of these two parties. They are clearly bought and paid for by their lobbyists, and their agenda is the control of the people and the economy. It is only a battle to see which party and lobbyists win. The people don't matter except for their votes...

So I say vote for the third party of your choice. If you like the Libertarian Party, Natural Law Party, Green Party, Constitution Party, or even the Socialist Party I don't care. Just stop voting for the two corrupt parties that are working for the lobbyists. The lobbyists are only in the game for the money and power...

The Libertarian Party started that kind of system 30 or so years ago when they found out how hard it is to get ballot access in our free election system managed by the democrats and republicans. They asked people to write in NOTA (None Of The Above). But they then started running people for office ( I did a couple times) trying to work within the election rules that are managed by the two corrupt parties. The game is rigged!!!

Lets cut to the chase. You , we, me are all gonna vote for Obama and Biden ticket. Ms Ob will continue to go to Africa to save her people, OB president will continue to borrow money from China, gas will rise to whatever level it will rise to, and taxes will go up and healthcare will be the darling of us all.

Expediting will continue to be good for some and not so good to those who run for 65cpm. Companies will come and go like water over the dam and guys will still sit for days in Laredo in the heat wondering why they are there and forever chasing that rainbow of pennies per mile knowing all along you can't support a family of 4 in a cargo van. The dream of that next big run looms in the imagination of us all,,,,,,,,,,,,,Ive been there just like you. It truly is recreational driving and I had fun doing it and maybe I will be back as soon as gas is a buck a gallon and vans/sprinters are not 35,000 bucks...................
