Being voted into a position of leadership does not make one a leader. Obama is NO leader.

Having such an HONEST group of people like the congress TELL us that Obama is a legal citizen (I am not saying that he is not) is just NOT the best "proof" that I could think of. There is no bigger, more corrupt bunch than our Congress and I see NO reason to trust them just because they TELL me I should.

Greg, who runs NSA? Who runs CIA? Are they run by the same government entity? (other than congress).

You koolaiders are the amusing ones. If a college degree were a requirement for a job and John Doe applied he'd be told to show his diploma to prove he met the requirement. If he didn't but dozens of other people vouched for him he wouldn't get the job because he didn't prove the requirement. It certainly wouldn't be an onerous requirement for him to provide it and if need be to get it replaced. If he did all the things Obama and the rest have done he would be considered pretty suspicious.

If seeing the obvious and not being koolaided makes one a birther then I guess I'm a birther but then I know that isn't the case. I just haven't been koolaided on the subject.

There is no requirement for a college degree to be president. Again, why would he NOT release his transcripts? If you are going to CLAIM to have a degree why should you not want to back it up?
How do we KNOW that he is being honest about his education? He is far from honest on most things, why would he be about this?

Have not prior presidents released their college records? Obama has not. Why not? Why would he not WANT too? Where was his birth certificate "posted"? Who is the "they" that posted it? In all reality, I doubt ANYTHING that Obama says. Only a fool trusts ANY career politician. Obama IS a career politician, therefor I do NOT trust him.

Barack Obama's records at Occidental remain sealed under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Rights Act, which applies to all students. Unless Obama gives Occidental permission to release his record, it is illegal for them to do so, and Obama has not given Occidental permission, according to Tranquada.

What does he have to hide? How do we know he has the degrees that he CLAIMS to have? He is a career politician and therefor cannot be trusted. His claims should be backed up with PROOF.

Whats funny about all of this is, if Obama could pull all of this off with so many people looking for a reason to prove that he isnt a natural born american, what does that say about the ones who allowed him to pull this off? With all our technology and secret spies and lawyers and we cant even prove whether the guy is a U.S. citizen or not. pretty sorry

My example was just that, an example. It has nothing to do with Obama directly. It illustrates how suspicious it is when something that should be incredibly simple is handled the way Obama's birth certificate was handled.

If i understand this right, the sealed records are not his degrees but things such as reports he made have written, classes he may have attended, things such as this.

Hawaii does not issue a long form birth certificate, its really just that simple.

I think the point is, if he isn't hiding anything, why not release these records. I would imagine that any CEO job that one applies for would require these records and more so why wouldn't the most powerful man in the free world be open about EVERYTHING in his background?

It is an original, just not the long form that they are calling for, which Hawaii by state law does not issue.

They no longer issue the long form but surely they did at the time of his birth as there've been copies shown online of twins that were born the day after him and their's were long form.

I honestly don't know what I believe about the birth certificate. I'm smart enough to know that ANYTHING'S possible so I keep going back to why not just release the thing and get past it?

As for the Occidental College years, I have read a little on what was going on during that time.
