Caught a Load early this morning with a 90 mile DH...and then they called back and took me off it.
No enough time to get me there to PU he said. Short Dispatched by at least a half hour.
Promised something better.
The drop was Louisville, 282 L.M.
Poo.
Wonder why my crack dispatch team didn't bid on that one??

OVM Project Manager
I had not seen that! Very cool!! We have a broker that call's me "Sally's Murray". Sounds rough for a title after the past titles of plant manager, warehouse manager, terminal manager, operations manager & general manager titles. But it's certainly very suitable!
Let me think...Office Manager, Admin Manager, Store Manager, Regional Sales Manager and Area Supervisor...but I sure don't mind being a project manager although it's a lot more work....lol

Good luck on your move my brother Mailer. How is everyone doing today? I have been down in the dumps for four straight days now. I literally feel like an 80 year old man. All of my vitals are normal. Even my blood sugar is in the mid 80's. I can't figure out why I have a constant headache, messed up bowels/stomach, dizziness, chest pain, and I am so lethargic. I hope I can get it together for another day of dispatching. If not, I'm going to have to take the entire day off and prepare for my appointment with the pain management doctor today. Then I get to be grilled and treated like a drug addict by my pharmacist when I bring in my new prescription for pain medication. Having a bunch of medical problems is the complete opposite of the care free life I once lived as an expediter. I am tied to two doctor appointments per month, and anywhere between two to four trips to the lab to get my blood checked. I have to coordinate all of this stuff. Sometimes it feels like a darn full time job. I would trade places with any of you guys at the drop of a hat. Any how, I hope everyone has a prosperous week this week!

Thanks brother!
Sorry to hear about your sufferings. Understood exactly what you've gone thru and are still going through. Many people don't understand chronic pain and quickly place the label. Anyone who owned the chronic pain, sufferings and depression become the daily struggle..... Totally zuck!

And I know you would give the world for one pain free day.

Brother, may I share the story.....
Many years ago, a friend who had the chronic pain and the sufferings similar to yours shared the story of his chronic pain. It's was quite interesting....he overcame the impossible and was able to rid most of his pain. Before the intervention, his pain averages 10/10. It dropped to the average of 3/10 !!!

He told me, for years he has been chasing and switching from one doctor to another. None were able to provide the effective pain relief. All they did for him were, gave more, switch meds, increased, tapered or try the new ones. At the end, back to square one. The pain worsen, depression worsen.

Then one day, in pain and exhausted.... he went Googled!

This one article caught his attention. Something about dealing with chronic pain without opiates or drugs. "BS! Impossible!!! " That's what he said. But he was hopeless and tired of dealing with more docs, drugs and pain. He went for the recommendations.

He found a pain specialist who does not use the opiates to treat the pain. Instead, the non-addictive and non-habit forming drugs were prescribed. It was a struggling process during the tapering process. The withdrawals were uncomfortable, but he made through it.

Together with this type of pain management, physical therapy, exercises and attending the chronic pain groups, his pain averages 3/10. To him a 3/10 is like a zero pain. He's no longer struggling with pain anymore and was able to return to his previous work and do many physical activities without pain.

I saw him a gain a year later, happy as a horse(Lol). What he said to me then was astounding. He said, " After all those years believing only the opiates will fix my pain, it worsens my pain. Today when my pain flared up, two Tylenols that's all it take!"

Hey brother blizzard, I hope you will experience many pain free days soon, as my friend did. :)
