Are you running Single or Team

I just had to ask this to everyone. Are you running single or team and who with? Since becoming an agent for Load One LLC I see this company as a great company for single drivers. They can keep your wheels moving and even build break times in loads for single drivers which keeps your wheels turning. This is not a knock to any other carrier. Some people don't like to run team at all. If I was running single I would be leased on with Load One LLC. Now if I was running team, Panther would be my choice.

I am running team at Tri State. With over 25 years of expedite experience,I can't imagine doing this business as a solo.I have not met one person driving for Tri State that has had one bad thing to say about this company.I've met a few solo's here that are doing very well, but, running solo with the crazy HOS we all have to live with, can be very difficult on a solo, sometimes even hard on a team.I'm not going to say Tri State is the best you can lease with, team or solo, but for me,I'm making more here than anywhere else I've been.

Dave,
Explain what an agent is and how it works, please.

A full service agent is a man who leads a life of danger.
In everyone he meets he sees a recruit-able stranger.
With every move he makes, another chance he takes.
Odds are he won't live to see tomorrow

First off, welcome aboard Bruno and soon to be TJ. I think you will both do well with Load One. TJ, I am very confident that the work that you do for us will speak for itself with anyone you know.

A full service agent, is an independent office that is contracted to Load One in this case. The agent has customers and freight. We provide them with the authority, insurance, software and back office, billing and all the wonderful stuff of administration. It allows the independent agent the ability to be part of a larger organization and succeed. Much in the way the independent owner operator is leased on to the carrier.

I wish Bruno and TJ the best of luck with Load One and welcome to the family!

Join our facebook page if you have not already to learn more about us and keep up with all the latest news at Load One.

So why can't you just put out the info here for all to see and make up there mind based on that, rather than have someone waste there minutes on a phone call.

Sadly the answer is probably just the opposite. Our tractor trailers are not exclusively part of the expedite operation. We operate about 100 tractor trailers that run primarily regional freight in a 400 mile radius of Detroit. We also have a group of units that run long haul round trip dedicated freight. Each is paid on different pay scales. So if Scuba is looking to sign on as an open board true expedite team out of NJ, I would be upfront and tell him that I am not sure we are the best choice.

I have no problem with numbers. We gave out the first 6 months results for our expedite fleet at the expo. I don't have a copy here at home, but alot of EO members saw them and took copies. I am the last person that is afraid of numbers! LOL

Hard to argue with you on that one. I am not a huge fan of the country of California.

TJ has more then you watching him OVM....:D As he said, I needs to run the wheels off that sprinter!! Making up is hard to do, but the good teams do come back after bein down...

Watching John posting here as the owner of Load 1 and his openesss and willingness to share how he is building Load 1 makes him and his company stand out as far as i am concerned. I think it was a real good decision for TJ to move there....He will do just fine....
