I thought we told you !!!!!!
I read all this stuff last night. Some comments surprised me, others didn't. I heard about Don Barker moving his fleet. I imagine that was a tough decision, but he had to do what was best for him. I wish him all the best.
I thought about what to say that would cover everything, but there isn't a catchall response. It's slow, it sucks, adapt as best you can. In my opinion, moving to another carrier isn't the answer. John says he's got this. Works for me.
Wait...there is a catchall response. I'll draw on the infinite wisdom passed on to me by a seven year old Labrador Retriever. "Let me in so I can go back out."

Said as my cats are looking out the window wondering my Pops went! And as far as my "plan" goes.. I just hope within the next few years we can pay down all the bills so Ken can enjoy his retirement too. So here's the deal John...you keep him busy now and I'll keep him busy later...*LOL*

After a nice first week back, which ended with a load that delivered 5 miles from the house, I've already got a load picking up 45 miles from home that picks up tomorrow night going back to Detroit.
As for all the chatter about rates and sitting, that's the way this business works. If John starts getting too flexible with the rates, Load One will be no better then __________ (fill in the blank). I worked for a "regional" expediter in the past, they NEVER lowered their rates. Not even when we bid on loads. Their entire customer base paid what they were billed without questions, strictly on the customer service that the company provided.
I'm a big believer in customer service. If we all take care of the customer, they'll take care of us.

that was not nice ..lol woke up have my coffee cold one at that .................last night shut my eyes after my evening coco well quick actually it was working power I mean APU working this morning the gremlins was hard at work last night then pulled into wash bay pre spray turned hot on nothing a big flat nothing came out cold water as I said is working fine but no HOT water clean grease with broom wow even fill pre soak while washing ,, but I did not break the HOT HOT WATER HECK EVEN CLEAN all the nasty grease off the floor of wash bay... And if my records are correct today is my 3rd birthday here at load 1 & thank you JOHN & all the great folks I have met for the last 3 yrs looking forward to the next 3 yrs by then I am thinking it will be getting close to pulling the pin pulling up the rocking chair and sit back & enjoy life watching my roo,s jump by the back or lol front porch
