Let me know what OKC, Witchita, KS, and Amarillo are good for, when you get the chance. ;)

I can't. Your carrier should be working JUST as hard for you as we work for ours. (and me)
Don't take offense. But if your carrier isn't working for you, why are you working for your carrier.

Is it all a place called Dana Or multiple places? Danville seems to have a high number of factories for only about 10-15k people that live there.

I think I've been to only 2-3 Dana plants. I think it was Pottstown, the old super grimy one and one in Michigan that was super nice and clean. If others, don't recall.

Are you being profound or are you recruiting ?

I've been seeing a huge number repeat posts for the same job and so much mid posted loads ,like 5000 lb van loads and some stupid times posted ,did someone hire a bunch of more than normal clueless!

Yeah. I've seen way too many Sprinter loads at 6 skids and 5000# and small straights at 1 for 36x36x36. I think there must be some newbie load posters out there.

95% profound.
5% recruiting.
As you guys know, we can only add drivers that can be paid slow.
I won't factor invoices.
I won't juggle with driver's money. It's not mine.
We would only add drivers that are basically financially able to sit on the load expense as long as we sit on the invoice for that load.
That is NOT a popular stance to take and is definitely not ideal for the driver. But, in our experience, it has translated to a few more cents per mile average and MAYBE a little less time sitting.
Low overhead = Lower per mile requirement.
Not wh0re bids. But just a little more competitive on the posted load bids than the big box carriers.
That's NOT a sales pitch. It is what it is.

I have a friend that started from scratch with o/o's waiting a long time for money from Ford and Chrysler.

Four years later he has 11o/os and 11company trucks.

And life is good from what I hear.

Yes, if I could scale what we're doing not it would be great. But I haven't officially started recruiting. We could add about 3-5 before we has to even consider spending any more money for ops. Of course ops is my background and experience. And I squeak what I walk ops.

Just an EOer asking another EOer for some carrier common knowledge, since you're here, and my dispatch isn't.

I wonder if you could buy this and have the cube put on another van and get it rated at 9,995lbs and use it? Make a cheapish unicell

It would have been worse if you killed a day thinking you had a Mon del and then found out you had a Sun del.

I actually don't even see those loads unless I'm looking for a load in those states. I added filters to my exchange server that I adjust when I'm looking in other states.

Not asking for loads... freight volume. Just wanted to know how many loads have shown up in those areas in the past how many days, as I have to dh to one of them.

That's what I'm saying. I don't see those loads anymore unless I add those that's. I only add those states when I'm looking for a pick from those states.
