Turns out NOT to be the AC compressor....just a line blown off...ordered both lines to be replaced, they will be over-nighted and back in shop tomorrow...

Is there a possibility of the system and it's components being contaminated now that the system has been open for so long?

Relocated to Laredo...

Absolutely...they are going to do a flush and make sure...

On a side note: Everyone believes a dryer should be replaced with the compressor...this isn't always the case..they've changed enough here and none have returned because of dryer fault...interesting....eh?

Emptied out in Shelby township mi at 7:30 this morning...3 hrs early..Pulled into the Wall-mart right around the corner from the delivery and went to bed..neck and shoulders were tight as a drum as I drove all night and through 70 mph winds and tornados and driving rain...

So, I was going to run down to Taylor after the drop, but was too tired and i figured I'd nap then head down there to visit..well Pam just called, I am 8 miles from a rush pu and delivery to Laredo!! So no stopping in Taylor and No Easter at home..Its all good, and maybe i can get dispatched out of Laredo Fri afternnoon and end up with a GREAT week!!!

Thanks Load 1 and dispatch!!

Out of the shop....new AC system...now in Sioux Falls for the night before heading on to Albert Lea in the morning...:)

Still in Laredo....No comment....If I am not out of here by Thursday, it may be it till Mon...Friday being Good Friday, then the Easter weekend...I sure hope I am not down here that long,I should of moved north out of Dallas instead of coming down here..What was I thinkin??? Ready to submit myself for a random drug test as a result of this..

Guido, at least you will have Chef as company if you get stuck down there.

We just got done doing the Chi town round trip. Had a mediocre week, not even halfway to our weekly goal. We are hoping the dispatch comes thru and gets us a nice long load to finish out the week and help us meet our weekly goal. We are kinda overdue for a nice long load, don't mind the shorter ones but its nice to strech your legs once in a while. Maybe some of TJ's & Dennis's luck will rub off on us and we will have a great week.

On our way to Tallmadge, OH from Raleigh, NC will be dropping in the morning. Hopefully one more load, a hort one though. Want to be home for Easter. We have plans with our Grandchidren.
We are going to the water park with them on Saturday. They are taking Nana there for her birthday, (Easter Sunday). We could use one more load to help Papa pay for it, lol.
