Happy days! Got rid of the crutches and brace yesterday and released to go back to work. A month early. Yippie. Now all I need is my van to come in.

We unloaded there the other day and picked up about 20 miles east of there in Aurora.

Thank you, going stir crazy sitting on my butt the last 3 1/2 months. Wombat is in my truck so I ordered a Sprinter for me.

As to "Here"....empty in Laredo 3 hrs early...was at the delivery before they opened..Sittin at the "J" next to Guido right now, but he ain't out here...I'll get nap in a while then head over to the TA for a shower later today...then depending on how hot it gets down here (they are saying 105 today ) I just maybe heading out to buy a "Window shaker" AC unit since I left the floor unit i have at home...grabbed the generator, forgot the AC unit, the extended range 6 gallo fuel tank and the gas can, but I go the generator...
So with Guido here, Nick & Jenny due in here in the morning and Xiggi on his way and now one more Load 1 van just hit the pavement, it lloks like we can all do Easter dinner together!!
Dang, I have never been in a place with more then 3 Load 1 unts in the same place...the will soon be 5 of here in Laredo!!

So...Dennis picked up the Generator from the repair shop the last time i was home and had it in the truck....Hadn't put the AC unit in the truck yet nor the extended range gas tank or the gas can...So now I get a run to Laredo...it is 98 in the shade...wait there is no shade here...it is 98 and suppose to be 101 tommorow and 105 on Sunday...
Soooo...I now have a new 10,000 BTU window shaker AC Unit stuck in the pass door window!!! It is set at 60 and workin its tail off but it is gettin cool in here...So if it works down here, i have no doubt it will cool the van off anywhere else..
Oh and right now it is coolong the whole van...within a few weeks i hope to have the "curtain" made and up to seperate the 1st 6 ft of the cargo area from the back 8 ft...so when thats done, the AC unit will work even better!!

OVM, Yes it would have fit in your sprinter easy. Plus it only weighed 480lbs....
. Name of the place was Nebraska Energy and they were shipping parts to another energy plant in Mt Vernon IN (just about 15 min away from Evansville another great spot). Guy who loaded me was Mike (long story on why I remember his name) but said they had more stuff to ship at a different date just not sure when. Load was a decent st rate too!Hope you get out soon..............oh by the way I'm home again.....lol
Dispatch called me after we were out of service and had a customer on the phone with a roundtrip load to clearwater Fl drop sat morning/reload asap and be back Sunday night 2400 miles...... co driver left town already and couldnt find another driver to fill the seat but we tried like hell to find someone.....lol

You got it azz backwards, since I don't have anything to do (In her opiniun) I get to CLEAN the house! Lol what's up with that? I should have taken a cab to the docs. I could have milked it a little longer! Lol

Still here in Laredo..Finally got to meet Chef today, a real super-nice guy, with a sweet ride also! Also another Load One driver, whose name I forgot already...My mind is just a little cloudy right now, and not in the best of moods. I guess I'm going to have to deadhead out of Texas...Going to start putting limitations on where I go from now on..

Doesn't Load 1 pay for empty move and layover together for cv. I thought I read that on here somewhere.

He has already collected that 4 days ago....empty in Amarillo and move to Dallas..then an empty move to Laredo...you don't collect the layover again after an empty move...
