Darn, didn't get your post until we already arrived here. We are in Hebron, OH at the TA having breakfast. Took a shower at the Pilot, now time to fill our bellies.
There is a CV here from Load1 #245. Haven't seen the driver yet.
Next time we will put a post out and see if we get any advice from you veterans. Thanks for all your help Chef and OVM.

Just got a load! Picking up in Dayton, Oh @3am going to Laredo, TX delivering Sat. @9am. Sure NEED the load! Hopefully it will pay well. Not looking forward to the 100 degree heat but we have a/c. I don't wear shorts, Tracy will break his out though.

There is a decent hotel at exit 3b called Family Garden Inn they have truck parking. Decent area. Security free hot dogs nachos pool spa breakfast. Rooms are only 55 with cdl discount. They also have laundry facilities on site! Another load1 team suggested this place to me last weekend and I'm glad I checked it out!

Cheaper than idling the truck for hours. With any luck they'll get you back out on Saturday ! Hope it works out for you!

The shop got me fix up Thursday morning fast! I don't think they had it in the bay more than 45 minutes. I am slowly creeping up in the standings was up to #4 not long ago so still holding out hope for today, I need some miles nothing for this week yet because of the wait for the repair.

Todd and I went to Texas Roadhouse last night and enjoyed a nice steak dinner. He just headed out to pick up a load to Laredo.

Judys taking yet another cat to the next town over and the cat was pregnant..thank goodness...that makes 10 now gone...

The in and out cats are bring a mouse a day home now..

...they are at least doing their J.O.B....! earning their keep...

Got about 5" of snow overnight but it is almost gone now...about 50 degrees out to-day...

Dispatch came through this week for me in a big way..Cinci to carleton, mi, Redford, mi to fort collins, co,4 hours after dropping Arvada,co to texas.near dumb-a*s.hoping for one more..hit alot of snow across 80 yesterday into co...Then 70 was shut down east of limon, co..287 also..Alot of tornadoes down south, headed towards ga, sc, please be careful, everyone.Reports of 80 tornados yesterday alone, as told to me by a freind.

Just arrived at our drop off point in Laredo, waiting for the place to open, then it is off to the truck stop for a rest. This truck hasn't stopped moving for over 28 hours, it needs a rest stop, lol. Will be ready for the next load by 10:30am, dispatch, so work your magic!

At the TA in Laredo. You would think it is an Expediters convention or something here. Haven't looked at the Pilot or the J to see what or who is there, but there are about 25 - 30 straight trucks here and a few Sprinters and CV. A majority of them are Express1, Panther comes in second place with the most straight trucks here.
Called dispatch to see if we should move north since there is so much competition here, but they seem to think we won't have a problem getting out of here.
I sent them a message saying we are the latest to arrive let's be the first out so everyone here will see Load1 is the copany to be reckoned with. We will see how they work their magic.
Hope to get another one today to finish out the week.

Finally got a run, not huge but paid great! Brought me down to Indy so I went ahead and signed out of service for the day so I could be home to see my daughter off to prom. She is one of the girls nominated for Prom princess so it was nice to be able to be here. Thanks to dispatch for hooking me up.
