Good mornin all. Crisp sunny morning here. Just got back from taking daisy out to play with the geese. What a hoot. Rested and ready to go. Now if the phone will ring.

Thanks mss1963, we will hang here and wait.

John, have a great time wherever you and the family are going. We will hold the fort down whilst you are away.

With all your money I would have thought you would have sprung for a bose seat for the sprinter.

At the yard. Been as high as 5 and low as 9 so far today. Went for breakfast/lunch with Tj, chef, American Scott, Debbie and the other Scott. Thinking it may be nap time.

Yes sir. These often unmarked van companies do nothing to help the industry. Artificial capacity that drives rates down. Just the bottom line.

Was talking with an undercover van driver as I call them over the weekend. Still don't see how they are able to do this

I think many simply do not understand the cost/risk/reward of all of this. They sell them on the "independent" mindset. Amway for trucking.

I had one of them chase me down in a parking lot the last time I was in Chicago (the time I was first out from Monday to Thursday). The first thing out of his mouth was how I managed to pay for my fuel. He payed for the fuel, and the company owned the van. He was driving 2500-3000 miles a week and couldn't keep up with paying for his fuel. He recognized he was in a trap, and was trying to figure a way out.

"Amway for trucking"--there's truth to that from a number of angles.
