Be nice, we are a work in progress. :)
I am being nice. I really like having to install Microsoft Silverlight and use Microsoft Internet Explorer just for one Web site. It's nifty. Breaks up the boredom. :D

Silverlight was an issue with the Qualcomm's only being able to use that.

Guido, later today, ill dig up the ohone # for the uni cell parts dept in Toronto and you can call them, they will sell them to you no problem....Calling a Chevy dealer for upfiter parts is always a pita...the parts dept really doesn't want to mess with stuff that isn't GM..they have to work too hard to find the "other stuff"

That's because Silverlight is the primary development environment for Windows Phone and Windows Mobile, and that's what the QC runs on.

Actually the MCP200 runs on XP, the 100's we used to have were windows mobile. Qualcomm has the units locked down (somewhat understandably) so we are not able to download different viewers.

I should have been more clear. I meant simply "Windows", and not specifically Windows Mobile. Technically, it's running XPe, which is Windows XP Embedded with SP3, which is the last release prior to the newer Windows Embedded Standard 2009 which offers many updated features, including Silverlight and .NET 3.5 natively in the OS.

The Embedded versions of Windows allow the OEM (in this case, Qualcomm) to selectively componentize the software by using only the components needed to reduce the operating system footprint, and also reduce security risks. It also lets them lock it down pretty tight, which is why I can't install the drivers for my printer or flatbed scanner.

That is EXACTLY what i was going to say, but just didn't have the eloquent words for it! LOL

we are stuck to doing them when we are at the yard through the qc and wifi. i run on firefox and have a modified security system on the laptop which wont allow me to view cause of security issues. it wants me to turn off all security to view, and i wont do that, so we just do them at the yard. but it can get you behind.

Why not use the Mc D's Wi-Fi when you're at home ?

Got my roof air unit installed and my fantastic fan clone, and maxAir-2 cover installed. Doctors went fine on Friday, lost 28 lbs so far. When ur as fat as I am, 28 lbs is nothing. I can take a dump and loose 5-6 lbs. Gurtrude hurt her hind leg running after a tennis ball. Hope its just a sprain, will be back at vet in couple weeks. It might be a torn ligament, if so that means surgery for Daddys girl. Few more things to do tmrw, then back in service.

Cuzzzz....ya gotta start somewhere and 28 lbs sounds like a lot to me. Congratulations!

28lbs + another 28lbs and you'll be 56 lbs lighter. I can't believe you wont feel a difference.

So....over the weekend, I texted OVM about something....no reply.
A few hours later I call....no answer.

As soon as he gets a load yesterday, my phone rings...lol. "What ya doing"?

I said, "well, I delivered here in Memphis this morning and dispatch just called with a load going to CT or somewhere.. 1,000 plus miles :D " There is a silence from OVM, then he tells me he is loaded and heading for the yard.

Im still in Memphis...never was a CT load :D
