I'm back in service with a entire new roof. This time I went steel and a fabricated door header that is sure to do damage to the next lift truck/freight that hits it. Unlike that thin steel alumi-bunk used for a header.
Hoping the steel roof takes a hit a bit better then that translucent/plastic roof did. Roof replacement paid in full by the shippers insurance and now waiting on them to pick apart my lost revenue claim. All things considered, I was real happy with the repairs and the way the shippers insurance handled it. So Im hoping the lost revenue claim goes just as good.
1 drawback is I will now need to maintain the lights inside the freight box as its dark as he** in there. They haven't worked in nearly 2 years as I got tired of climbing up there to change light bulbs.

Empty moved myself last night.
I'm thinking I'm pretty close to Talledega Speedway

Great place to be for race weekend. Even if your not a Nastycar fan. Very truck freindly. A few years ago I met a man named Moose there and it was one of my best NASCAR races I have ever attended.
Highly recommend to visit this place even if its just for a camping trip at the track during a event.

I think I sat on those..The bleachers are the cheap seats also, on the Start/Finnish line there. Wasn't costly at all compared to other NASCAR events.

Never have been able to get into racing.
My only half interest in following is/was...
I got to meet Jeff Gordon back in his early days, and had a friend who worked on someone's pit crew, don't remember who's.

I'll watch nascar if it's on tv, but I'm a dirt track fan! "Dirt is for racing, Asphalt is for getting there!"

Always go cheap seats, hang out with the common man!

It was just luck of the draw on where we sat that day as we got the tickets from a street vendor/scalper. Couldn't have worked out any better and properly the only place I would want to sit again. Full view of turn one and and some real power going into it..

Wouldn't say I was a die hard fan of NASCAR but I like it. We live fairly close to MIS and don't look forward to the traffic the comes with each race weekend. MIS is not my favorite track to visit. Talladega I would go back to in a heartbeat if the opportunity arose again.
