I'm back in service with a entire new roof. This time I went steel and a fabricated door header that is sure to do damage to the next lift truck/freight that hits it. Unlike that thin steel alumi-bunk used for a header.
Hoping the steel roof takes a hit a bit better then that translucent/plastic roof did. Roof replacement paid in full by the shippers insurance and now waiting on them to pick apart my lost revenue claim. All things considered, I was real happy with the repairs and the way the shippers insurance handled it. So Im hoping the lost revenue claim goes just as good.
1 drawback is I will now need to maintain the lights inside the freight box as its dark as he** in there. They haven't worked in nearly 2 years as I got tired of climbing up there to change light bulbs.
