what the heck is the lake michigan area? that runs friom way up there in michigan down to ind and il and wisc all the way up to over there in michigan. try to be a little more vague next time tj:D



lansing il to henry il at a buck + a mile. wow almost 300 loaded miles this week.

Empty in Rock Island IL. DH'd over to the "J" at Davenport IA on I-80....Only Bolt unit here, bout one of 9 CV's and Sprinters...they either get me out of here this morning or I'll be DH'n out heading east....

Well with 9 CV/ Sprinters in the "J" parking lot waiting for loads, one can't be too choosy, sooo, its 180mies of DH, but then it runs 556 Loaded miles and it pays over $.80 for all miles....Oh and it is going to leave me home for friday, so ill go out of service to be there for my daughters 1st Jr/Sr prom....:D

Davenport Ia. to Sparta Wisc. to Romeo Mich...Ends a Very good week income wise!!!:D

Oh. the load weights 8 lbs!!! Might as well be running empty, mileage will be the same!!

Because you have 8 lbs on board, couldn't bolt stick something else on board and help you get that $1.60 a mile?

Turtle, they rarely do that...but it has happened from time to time, usually if it is the same consignee but 2 different pickups...and it has happened while in transient...so...the day isn't over yet......and one can "hope"....well..... i won't go there!!:D

Yeah, I know, with those window coverings it's hard to know if I'm asleep or just inside playin' on the computer.

Oh, this is a locations thread. Two weeks ago I was in Oregon, then Idaho then Utah then Nevada then Utah then Wyoming then Utah then Wyoming then Nebraska then Illinois then Tennessee then Kentucky and now I'm in Miami. Managed to get out of Midwest Hеll unscathed after only 4 days. :D

We are sitting at the TA in Council Bluffs, IA. Still trying to get a load that heads towards the house. Have to be home by Sunday. Sure be glad when this nightmare is over. :(

Or at least you can tell us if the locomotive museum worth stopping for ,& truck friendly

Maybe next time. Don't do casinos, the museum sounds interesting but not this time. We are only going to wait till morning, what a waste this week has been. It will be good to get home, real food, unlimited shower, walleye fishing and friends and family.

O'h ,but all the good loads BIPP's Fri. afternoon !!!
i once was told by a Sprinterer , that in Expedite i only need to relocate meself to a better location, so i can be in the hot spot Mon. morning and Fri. noon .

(meself is no typo , i think he was Scottish ,or Irish ,or worst...Britz...)

Yeah, normally that is correct, but, most things that I am likely to see tomorrow will be a pre-dispatch for Monday. I can't take those. I have all kinds of DR stuff next week and have to be home.

This has just been one of those weeks. It could not have come at a worse time. Ain't it always that way? All I can do is look at the bright side, it can only get better. :eek:

Yeah, I know. Most likely will head out early in the morning. It will get better. Just have to wait it out. Won't be easy, but, when is it ever? Right?
