My point is this: taking myself out of the equation all together, there are far more of you than there are of him. From an observer's view it seems lopsided.

Of course it is lopsided. Most E.O. members are business people and many are owner/operators. As such, we tend toward the right side of the political spectrum. We are more independent, self-sufficient and willing to take risks. Even though we are in a highly regulated industry, it does offer us more freedom than so called "traditional jobs".

I believe that many of Doug's posts on the Soap Box forum were way more to the extreme left than his actual political beliefs. I think Doug was having some fun with the majority.

Yeap it was an acronym...and if you read the Admin who tossed hims later reply..even using that in HIS view was enough...as i said we are guess here in the owners home, he sets the rules. follow or leave, no like the rules, the dorr swings both ways......

If I used that same type of cryptic cussing towards another in here that I was not in political agreement would you feel the same way? Just asking. It is amusing when you read things in here and many other places or just when listening to people talk that a "voice of reason" is always someone that you agree with. Human nature is the same where ever you go.

YES. I would feel EXACTLY the same. It isn't that I agree or disagree with Doug. As I understand it , the spirit of this thread is debate. Debate gets heated. The D-12 that OVM has mentioned pretty much dictates what goes on around here. You know it and I know it.

Only the owners and their administrators decide who crosses the line that THEY drew in the sand. They did that to try to insure at least SOME civility to this forum. I have NO problem with that. I am sure that I have come up to that line from time to time but I TRY NOT to cross it. Doug knew what he was doing, as do I and most everyone else in here. While I might not always agree with Doug, or anyone else for that matter, on every issue I support their right to speak it. I also reserve my right to speak mine.
