the new interior. compare to the early post pix with the insulating board. quite a nice difference. three wraps of reflectix around the van from floor to ceiling to floor. could not have done it without gracies input and help. ready to work for a week.
well here is an update. fantastic vent in the roof but not in the pix.
here is the new floor. 1/4" ply with reflectix underneath. both laid side to side longways. think it took three 4x8 sheets to do the floor. two rolls of reflextix. it takes three boxes of alloc flooring to do an extended ford van. one box was not quite full as it was leftovers from a job. got it from a friend at church..
then the box got re-done. we ditched the plastic pipe thingie and just made the box 125" . gracie did the math and pix to cut two 1/2 4x8 sheets into lths for this job.
we had had fl drivers hit the e-track because they couldn't drive straight. so we have a kick panel at the bottom and the e track in the recessed top panel.
then we added these ikea shoe boxes to the walls on a remaining lth of 8' leftover plywood.
1 for the tools and nonesuch
1 for dry food stores
1 for knitting supplies
2 small ones for reading matl and a place for meds.
next time maybe some shelving on the passenger side.
oh..... and the airtabs with the sun shining from behind make a nice image. this thru the dirty kitchen window.
its scratched and a couple floor boards absorbed some hyd fluid thanks to a couple pumps we returned for repair. got a skid on top of them right now, try to get pix after we unload monday.
well it took a while but here are the floor photos after 4 months. scratched on the left by something on a skid. on the right side you can see how the machine oil from a couple improperly plugged pumps was absorbed into the floor. there are no high marks just the definition of the panels. next time i will install flooring like a floor guy in staggered panels rather than side by side panels
