didn't run this past lawrence so maybe this will be removed.

you can get an hcv from vision mfg at watson quality ford of jackson ms for the price of a ford cargo van. that is about 12k off the conversion price. call bill molitor at 601-956-7000. tell'em i sent ya!

they ordered 450 in 2008. they have 32.....31 left. 5.4, 4.6 and 6.8 gas engines and the 6.0 psd. no cruise but i was told the wiring is there and all you need to do is buy a cruise ctl steering wheel and buy the buttons.

gracie was gonna get me a new radio for my birthday this week. she bought me a portable one.

freightdawg the hardwood dance floor goes in tomorrow/

ovm.....new rules....used is unpleasant.

everyone else.....i will post'em as i do'em.

i was told ford runs in the engines for 3 hrs at the plant then drains the oil getting out all those pesky metal shaving. no break in just go.

we had 4 tanks of fuel. jackson to memphis was 14. sumpin. memphis to matthews mo was 15. don't remember the matthews to eff'ham but the final to home was 16.7 all about half tanks 200 miles or there about except the last one over 300. tank size is 35 gal.

72" door height.
75" inside floor to roof....YES!! i can put my pants on vertically.
11' from door lip to back of seats
50" between the wheel wells.
e350 is 9500 gvw and stickered for 3750# cargo. with us in it the truck weighs 6790# so for us its a little less.

when the ceiling is done the reflectix gets put in. like to do it from the center to the sides. maybe take 2 rolls 48" x 25'. use the extra for the doors.

Now are you going to use rolls of bubble foil to cover the whole thing...I see the ribs are still exposed..

I also see you have your TP hanger installed already...*L*

I was at a Chevy dearlership on Saturday, who, by the way, will change your oil and filters, and top off the other fluids, for $13.50, you provide the oil and filter. It was off of 71 in Columbus, Ohio, exit 117, go west about 1/2 a mile and it is on youre right. The oil change part of that dealership is in the commercial truck lot.Anyway, he had about one of everything, a Amardillo body, sprinter,Spartan,($28,000), cube, and a Cargomaxx for the bargain price of $51,000. lol.But in looking at all of them, I have decided that if I get another van, it would be a Spartan, (9,900 gvw)just because it was 12' x79 high x 78 wide, srw, and it was a standup from the seats to the end, swing door, with a side door with a stepwell in it in the front right side corner of the box, which would come in handy if a permanent 48" sleeper was to be built in the box.Even though I am a Ford man,I was impressed by the legroom and smaller engine cover in the cab, and it wasnt too bad, alot of options, but it was 2k more than the Ford I looked at in Michigan, which had a roll-up door. But no side door, but I can put that in myself.Still not convinced on a gasser, which all of these are that I mentioned. The van looks great, Jack !!
