Am I this good or just lucky?

Since my exiting Expediting, the 18 wheels I have been enjoying. Completely different and it seems to fit me well.

Onto business. The dedicated run is steady but not what it was suppost to be with the Economey and all. Three times every other week is only two times, so some of the wind was taken right out of the sails.

Last week Chrsyler was shut down so Wild I ran. Thursday PM I find myself in Holland MI, pre dispatched in the Detroit area 7 miles from my Chrysler load.

Get to asking questions to both the broker (one of my company brokers super nice people) and I ask how often etc... etc.. Every Friday or Thursday PM I am told. Hmmmm really now I am thinking (Double load?) So I show up for the freight no Chrsyler freight on this Friday ask a few questions, sure we will help ya move stuff around if we have to. Weight I was thinking this is gona be a problem, NOPE only 20-22K and my other freight is usually only 6-12K on Thursdays.

So I have now increased my bottom line profit by OH, a free load or without bragging (which I am) a BUNCH...

So with pouring my brains out over charts, graphs, financial caluclations long hard calculated business decisions or am just one very lucky guy? Boy I would love to think that I was Brilliant, or am I.

P.S. freight drops one County away from the Chrysler freight down here in the Carolina's every Monday for both loads.

I am a very happy guy right now, hope it continues to fall into place.

Attaboy, Broom! Yes, you had some luck there, but you added to it, and that's the way to spell 'success'. ;)

It was all that pouring your brains out over charts, graphs, financial calculations to make those long hard calculated business decisions that has finally paid off! NOT!

LUCK: That which happens to a person; an event, good or ill, affecting a man's interest or happiness, and which is deemed casual; fortune. Luck respects persons and their proceedings. We never say, in a literal sense, that a plant has the luck to grow in a particular place; or a fossil has the luck to be of a particular form. We say, a person has the good luck to escape from danger; or the ill luck to be ensnared or to suffer loss. He has had good luck, or bad luck in gaming, fishing or hunting. Luck, or what we call chance, accident, fortune, is an event which takes place without being intended or foreseen, or from some cause not under human control; that which cannot be previously known or determined with certainty by human skill or power.

There you have it friends. It is not by any cause under human control; therefore, the incident is not of this world. The incident can not be previously known or determined by human skill or power. It can be determine by a higher power. It is not coincidence...it is incidence.

Ecc 3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
