I wasnt aware and if it is posted I havent noticed. But I been to Michigan a 100 times and have never scaled. So far so good no one has stopped me.

To be honest I never been to a scale house. I really dont know what to do when you enter?

It is NOT posted on the signs...it just says "All Trucks".

Chris: just look for signs/directions, they're all different. Some have 2 lanes, and you watch for overhead arrows directing you to the correct lane, others have a single lane. Some instruct you to dim lights, others don't. The bypass lane [the one you will most likely be in] keeps moving at a slow speed, the scale lane has a stop sign just ahead of the scale. Roll your window down [turn radio off/down] and listen - many have speakers for communicating instructions.
Keep your paperwork handy in case you are asked for it, and that's all there is to it.

Yes..Turtle informed me of Wyoming's requirement..

I was delivering to Gillette....I stopped at the POE on 90 ...they don't scale us....just enter our DOT and look at our BOL...

Gillette, WY? Is this about cv or straight? I've been several times thru WY, but I never had any problem...

Ann Rands novel "Atlas Shrugged" pointed to government officials making laws ambiguous so at any time an individual, who needed to be brought around, "to the proper way of thinking" could be.... via the selective enforcement of the ambiguities...

How did she see into the future so accurately one wonders....

How did the prophet Samuel do it?

17"He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his servants.

18"Then you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the LORD will not answer you in that day."

Americans demanded powerful government that can give us everything we want, not realizing that a government powerful enough to give you everything you want is powerful enough to take everything you have.

You're welcome. I forgot to add that you don't want to focus so intently on the overhead & forward directions that you miss the scale with half your wheels, as I did first time [in a t/t]. Luckily, that scale cop had a sense of humor, and he told me to circle around & try again - when he stopped laughing.
