Next time someone complains that pro-life people are just men trying to control women's bodies tell them that you are a woman without the money for surgery. Then you can talk about how insensitive they are to the transgender community.

That's according to one small group of volunteers in NY. If the ridiculous statements of one small group out of hundreds could delegitimize the larger group, the Republican Party would have disappeared long ago.
When science reaches the point where trans men need to terminate pregnancies, they'll be included.

No one with an IQ larger than their hat size needs to make up such a ludicrous response - there's more than enough evidence without resorting to lies, much less such preposterous lies.
Judging from advice [in another thread, but germane] to "make it about a concern for safety, rather than hating, or at least make it appear so" [italics mine], playing fast & loose with the truth is familiar territory for you.

Keep it on topic and leave the personal insults out of it, Cheri.

Thank you

My opinion of the advice to tell an untruth IS on topic, buttressed by the same advice [to lie] on another topic, and the "personal insult" was merely an observation - with the evidence to support it.
I don't take kindly to deliberate misrepresentation of the truth, and this is the second instance I've seen of promoting it by the poster. [Thus the "familiar territory" remark.]
Of course, he will say he was "just joking", but to women who find their options for medical care limited, it's not funny at all. I can't speak for any trans people, but I bet they're not laughing either. It wasn't just advice to lie, it was an absolutely ludicrous suggestion, totally devoid of humor or sense, never mind honesty.

Blah, blah, blah...

This....

.. is about the poster, not the post. If you think what he said was ludicrous, then say that, explain why, and then move on. Stay on topic without insulting other members.

Anybody with an IQ higher than their shoe size should be able to do that.

Well then if that is the case how do you explain the gay community who takes up less than 2% of the population, but are trying to tell the rest of the population that they have to accept their ways.

According to the CDC, it's 1.6% gay or lesbian, 0.7% bisexual.

That's what the members and proponents of that group want you to believe. According to the National Center for Health Statistics it's about 1.6% gay/lesbian with another 0.7% identifying as bisexual for 2.3% and Gallup reports it as about 3.4% combined.

Anyone catch the irony of the Centers for Disease Control keeping precise numbers on deviant behaviors? Shouldn't the CDC take a neutral or nonjudgmental approach to behaviors so protected by political correctness?

It's not the gay community telling the rest of us we have to "accept their ways", it's a very large percentage of the population [including heterosexuals, like me], saying it's wrong to deny gay people the same rights as everyone else.
It's wrong to teach kids that gays [or queers, as they're often called by those who believe themselves superior] are immoral, perverse, or wrong, so that those kids become the adolescents and young adults who engage in 'gay bashing' for fun. I mean literally bashing: looking for those who 'appear gay' to beat up.
It's wrong to refuse to serve a customer one believes is gay, because "my religion doesn't support homosexuality", or to rent lodgings, offer employment, or issue a legal marriage license, based upon religious beliefs.
All of those things were accepted, as long as gay people hid their sexuality from view, and everyone could believe they didn't actually know any gay people. The gay people were too afraid of the repercussions to speak up. They're not anymore, and a lot of former homophobes are just amazed to learn that someone they admire, or even love, is one of those people. [Dick Cheney!]
Those people are just like the rest of us, [except for their sex lives, which, being between consenting adults, are none of our business] and it's past time we accept that.

As part of their job includes such epidemics as AIDS/HIV, how exactly would they know whether it's increasing, decreasing, or remaining static, in the homo and/or hetero population if they don't know the percentages of those populations?
Their mandate is to reduce diseases, not to judge people.

Are you serious??? So your saying we should only be more excepting if there percentage of population was higher. How about being a little more open minded because they are tax paying Americans and not to mention human beings. That's how I look at it. Its amazing that in 2015 this gay thing is still an issue. Jesus can we please move forward like the most of the world has. By the way the USA is only 5% of the world's population so according to your thinking the rest of the world shouldn't give a crap about us, right?

How about if a baker that has a lifelong strong belief is forced to go against their belief and bake the cake "Congratulations newlyweds John and Ron" plus a second place that says "gay is wrong" on the cake?
