A rarity, a legitimate lawsuit

Obama is going to find out rather quickly that his attempt to control MILLIONS of people is going to be about as easy as controlling a handful of fine, dry sand by squeezing harder. The harder he squeezes the more will slip out.

Obama is a bully. Like all bullies he is a coward. He does NOT have the "stones" to attempt to do what he wants in a legal manner, by amending the Constitution or calling for a Constitutional Convention. SO, he will bully. He will lie, he will use all kinds of force, even lethal if need be, to achieve his goals. The lie fest starts tomorrow. Obama will "release" his gun control ideas. The manure is ready and the blades are spinning faster. I, for one, would NOT want to be the person(s) who are going to be tasked with enforcing this stuff.

I agree, I too will always carry, ANYTHING that I want WHERE EVER I want. It are how it are.

What type of weapon do you carry on the road?

FDCC contract does not allow us to carry. IF I were to carry I would likely carry a shotgun.

At home I carry either a Sig .380 or a Ruger .357. Mrs. Layoutshooter carries either a Sig .380 or a Bersa .380. My primary home defense piece is a 12GA, sawed off to 18 1/4" with tungsten home defense rounds.

I'm a little short on firepower. But, for close work I have a couple of hammers and a crowbar handy. Admittedly poor choices if the bad guy is heeled, but--- one thing you guys sometimes don't think about is that if the other guy is heeled, going for your gun when he already has his aimed at you isn't an overly bright choice. If he isn't heeled, I reckon my hammers and crowbar can give a fair account of themselves.

Oh. In that case I am conflicted by your previous statement:

"I agree, I too will always carry, ANYTHING that I want WHERE EVER I want. It are how it are."

It is all in the context. In the statement quoted above we were discussing an illegal infringement of the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution. An infringement that would include the use of force, including lethal, by the Federal Government that has no LEGAL authority to infringe upon that right, except in the case of either amending the Constitution or calling a Constitutional Convention. Compliance with such a mandate would not imply choice.

I comply with the FDCC voluntary contract by CHOICE. It is NOT a law, legal or other wise. Just a requirement limited solely too my business choices.

They have no impact on my LEGAL ability to carry. It is NOT enforced by Federal, State or local law enforcement officers. It is therefor NOT an illegal infringement upon my rights.

Just as choosing NOT to carry when I am home is not.

Thanks for asking, good question, glad I could provide this answer.
