Also, almost no enforcement on front axle weight.

Could be. ALumijunk was good with engine/tranny/rear end combo's, lousy on wheel base, axles etc

If your buying a volvo all I keep hearing about us how great the d13 (volvo motor) and i-shift auto is (also volvo). Great fuel economy and well built for the many miles you'll put on it. It's what we are looking at as well.
