One of the main reasons for the Second Amendment of the Constitution is self defense. Properly armed citizens will bring down crime. A LEGALLY armed citizen was able to protect his own life, take a criminal out of the gene pool and his actions led to the arrest of two other thugs.

DETROIT (WJBK) - Even thieves don't take time off for heavy snow. One man is dead and two others under arrest after police say the trio tried to rob a pizza delivery man at gunpoint.
He never did get to deliver the pizzas, but he did deliver a deadly gunshot to one of the men who tried to rob him.
"I (saw) this tall guy with a gun. He's on the phone. He's standing by a car, and that's all I could see," said Val Overton.
What she couldn't see right away from her window was the body of a would-be robber that pulled a gun on a pizza delivery guy across the street who, in turn, pulled out his own gun and fired.
"Thank goodness he saved his own life, and just shame of thieves," Overton said.
The pizza guy works for Papa's Pizza on Harper. He was trying to deliver to a house on McCormick on Detroit's east side.
However, neighbors said nobody lives there. The robbers set him up.
"I (heard) four gunshots. So, I (looked) out the window and I (saw) the man running over the grass to the backyard," said Toteanna Palmer.
Harper Woods police arrested two robbers, who had tried to run after their partner in crime was shot and killed.
"It could've been the other way around. It could've been the pizza guy, who's trying to make a living to feed his family. So, for every cause there is an effect," said Elnora Traylor.
"That's my delivery guy. So, I want to give him a big hug when I see him again," said Overton.
The delivery guy did have a permit to carry a concealed weapon. He wasn't available for comment, but another driver told us it's all part of the job. A lot of drivers are armed for their own safety.
