Buy a used van Have 3 months reserves take all loads for 2 months then you will know what runs make money and those that lose you money maintain your van If you this you should be ok

LOL,O man that's to funny,about a month ago i went to Nova Scotia on a load and i took my wife with me,when we got to the Canadian border the customs officer asked if we had any weapons and my wife replied "ye my fists"the guy started laughing if it was on the US side we would of been arrested...

Why is it every time i go to Canada i have no problem going in but when i reach the U.S border they treat everyone like terrorists whats up with that.

My thoughts exactly but instead of 2 weeks make it 2 months

How do you determine a trucks value and is there a web sight that would have that info?

That's the other problem there no expediter truck dealers around my area Ive been looking in MI and OH. that will be another problem when i get there to find a reliable mechanic around that area that i can rely on

You guys are very helpful Ive done allot of research on trucks but since i am new to this i don't want to make any major mistakes even tho i know i will and i will learn from them but want to keep them to a minimum if possible LOL That's why i ask allot of questions and hopefully get some...

I have a van i want to get into a straight truck just need some help from you guys in making this decision since you have been doing this for a long time. What brand of truck is best? Reefer or not? With or without lift-gate? Any info would be appreciated thanks......

It,s not only all the DH.The money sucks.Its been DH a few hundred miles for a 100 mile run whats up with THAT!!!!

I usually do call them but i just find that the last few days its been allot more DH than usual,I know that there is units allot closer than me,i guess they don't want these runs for some reason if they gave me a bit more coffee money i would take them in a heartbeat.

For the last few days all my load opportunities have been with at least 300 miles 0f DH whats going on with that?I know there are closer units,just wondering.......:confused:
