    Retired Military (soon to be)

Check out Premium transportation. You don't have to live in Ohio. Great company to work for, NO Qual-Com or the attached fees for it. All dispatch is done by telephone, so you have to have a cell phone. Works great. And with a cargo van, you don't have to have a CDL.

    Udate on stupid mistake.

I agree with AMonger. Sometimes the spelling in these posts are beyond terrible. I always check my spelling 3 times before making a post. If everybody would just check their spelling and word usage, it would be much better reading and knowing what the poster meant in the message.

    Carriers' view on van windows

When my van was in the shop for some work, I used my best friends van, which didn't have windows on the side doors. When backing, there was a terrible blind spot on the right side. On my van, I have put the limo darkening film on the rear windows and the side doors (not up front). I got the...

    Home time?

I take a load, deliver it, and if there isn't a load coming back, I will dead head. However, I do have a State of Ohio pension and a V. A. payment coming in the first of every month. Without that, I could not afford to do this type of work. Good luck on your future endeavors:D.

My 2008 Ford E250 w/4.6 gets 17 to 18 mpg. I stay at 65 mph no matter if the limit is 65 or 70. I use the cruise control no matter what, and it runs fine with heavier loads.
