Moving up the food chain (straight truck)

Isn't that the first thing they teach you, know where the truck is in relation to objects around you? Cheri, bad... ever think of measuring it? There is this device that I discovered back in 1966, it is called a tape measure and you can now buy them for a buck. :D Mine is 12' 6" as are many...

    Economy???

The Chinese market does not allow sub-prime lending or leasing, they are sales. If the Volt is built there, which I heard that they are considering it, then they will kill the pole town plant. The sales of the volt hybrid is dismal at best with the only real customer being the US government...

    Recorded phone calls

Actually not really, when you have a call from Ohio and you are in Michigan, the call falls under the feds - interstate call. Under the fed's law, the use of the exception us still there but the problem is regardless when people are put on hold it stops being a business related call until it...

    EEOC and Bass Pro

well I wonder how you got those applications back in the olden times Layout, were they preprocessed or were they just filled out and handed to you by the guy/gal who filled them out? I would think that if the EEOC took the case, there is something to it. Seeing that the EEOC refuses to...

    Economy???

A lot of sales of GM products are coming from short term leasing and sub-prime lending. This was the same issue that got them into trouble in the first place. They are still using tax payer money in both the form of loans and grants to shore up their ledger and we may see their stocks sink to...

    Recorded phone calls

Hate to break the news to you Paul, the carrier has a legal obligation to inform each and every contractor who calls in that they are being taped for business purposes. The SC has not ruled on that, the ruling came from the 10th cir decision. The exemption is based on the need to check the...

Good bad or just plain wrong???

I don't see the issue, I know many who have been in prison for petty things having no problem what so ever in registering to vote. You have the right to know why, specifically and the law is really liberal, I think residency and breathing are the two that stick out.

    Welfare Recipients Driving $15,000 cars

Well tonight both the UAW and GM have said the average US Autoworker who works at GM makes an average of $116k a year with benefits and salary. This excludes the bonus, the profit sharing and other things, like OT which can raise it up to $145k a year. Pretty good for putting a nut and a bolt.

    United Nations Arms Trade Treaty

Yep it can be that way if we let them but at this point, we are not doing that, so you can relax a bit. We can start by educating people, and those who want to remain ignorant, ship them off to say Cuba or Mexico. I thought about it and ... nope nothing like what happened is happening here -...

    Welfare Recipients Driving $15,000 cars

We'll see a lot of push back from this, a lot of UAW members get their food through the food stamp program.

    United Nations Arms Trade Treaty

too late for what? The UN isn't a country, it is an entity which we allow to exist. It can not take over our country, it can't do much of anything without our permission and treaties do not circumvent the constitution, especially those which are not ratified by our senate. Really? People...

What Carrier Really Cares about it O/O?

Well he said it right there, they care more about their safety rating than they do about him. I know first hand what he means and know what FedEx cares about first hand, doesn't make either bad just assuming that he means the same thing as I would, the reason for the ??

    United Nations Arms Trade Treaty

God, doesn't anyone read the news. The state of Texas was sued by the Bush administration where the SC said, too bad treaties do not apply to states. Then around that time, there was a landmark decision about guns and cities/states which also apply to it. BUT maybe you haven't read that the...

Where is the national outcry for thus guy?

There is a big difference, the guy in Georgia seems to have an issue with no evidence and the witnesses recanting or telling lies while the guys in Texas seem to have a lot of evidence. So if you want to put to death one of them, I wouldn't consider the guy in Georgia as a candidate for it.

    Sheriff Joe Arpaio

Sorry Joe, who cares about it. With all your tv appearances, and talk show call ins of late, maybe the people who elected you may be electing another guy to do the job you need to do.

so you say you dont drink koolaid . are you sure

I think for some it is a revelation that has taken place, they just discovered things that many of us knew for a long time and has been studied since the late 1860's. Much like the rise of Elmer Gantry types, they used the same concepts to drag people into their world that were written about...
