The problem with that is that you don't know when you will be offered a CA load. After you get the load offer,you barely have time to check the additional requirements and the pay.

I have had the luck to be able to see a nightime shuttle launch,and it is something that you will never forget. Night turns to day in an instant,it is so awesome and attention getting,that the radio stations tell people to pull their cars off to the side of the road and stop.:eek:

$2400.00 A year does sound like too much,but then I don't live in MI. We usually average between $1000.00 and $1200.00 a year for a D unit here in OH.

We were out in Socal about a week ago,and we too were shocked to find 22 D units in the LA and Ontario express centers ahead of us. Needless to say, when they offered us the cheap paying relocation back east we jumped on it just to get back to the freight lanes.:(

You got that right about CA Dave.It used to be if you came through a scalehouse in California and did not have a current inspection sticker on the windshield,it was an automatic trip to the inspection bay. We have been out there at least 5 times in the past few months with no sticker at all on...

I'm tryin' to think,but nuthin's happening.

I hear ya,I too have a truck to-do list and will never reach the end of it,because as items are completed and removed more keep piling up.
