Well here's a question: I have a 2006 Sprinter that came equipped from the factory with the Heater Booster - this unit is basically an Espar D5 engine coolant heater. It is used as a supplement heater to raise the coolant temp when the (cold-blooded) Sprinter is running in cold ambient temps...

My guess is that while it would probably be relatively easy to find someone to do it (raise it) you're going to find it fairly expensive ...... I could be wrong tho'. I dunno that I'd rip anything down (can never have too much storage space) .... but like Greg says putting up a polebarn might...

My son's 2004 with 137K had the engine light come on about a week or two ago, finally got it in to the dealer on Monday - it was the Mass Air Flow sensor - the same thing that went bad on my 2006 - unfortunately his wasn't under warranty ..... $740.00
