    It is sad...

....that we live in a country that is so screwed up that we have people who are supposed to represent us actually representing our enemies. I find the entire democratic party close to being nothing but bunch of idiots, bar none. Many in the republican party are not far behind and after reading...

    Stuff

Broom, How much stuff is enough? It is a good question but hard to answer. I like others started off with a lot of stuff but eventually got to the point I found out what I really needed. Now that was in a van, in the truck I don't have the room I need for what I had in the van. I have...

    Passing Inspections

You know it gets kinda frustrating after a while seeing these apartments on wheels go by knowing that a few of them are more unsafe than the poorly maintained truck. I saw one the other day that was just unreal pulling a trailer. As it passed me I thought how in the h*ll can anyone turn the...

    air freight vs expeditering

“I would suggest that the verb is not evolving but devolving. Trucking companies of all kinds have learned that "expedited" is a phrase that pays. Since no one has rights to the word, it is used by numerous companies to describe a variety of services. No Phil I don’t agree for what it is...

    dilemma??

Actually there is something that I have to ask, are we the United States the only country that knows about this pending event or does France also know? If we are the only one who knows, then I would simply shut my mouth and tell the UN they have 24 hours to vacate the property in NYC and tell...

    Protest May 1

As I read through this post, I have to wonder about the motivations of others to rewrite history. Sorry you apologists out there but as with slavery, the Mexican question is the same as any other issue that we as citizens of this country face – a spotty past that has been rewritten to look...

Before the Mexicans can drive, they need dispatche

RE: Before the Mexicans can drive, they need dispa First Leo, it would be far better to enforce the laws we already have. I was reading about the marches in Detroit today and one comment I found rather eye opening is about the humanitarian need to allow these invaders here. I can't see any...

    CIA

I know, but you have to consider in the days of the Soviets and the Cold War, what would the people think of a person who has taken the step to write a book about any event who worked for the CIA? It is bad enough that the whole plame thing now looks like a publicity stunt created to get her...

    Truck Inspections

You know when you read an article, like the one on EO about inspections, you seem to wonder if you would have any problems in an inspection, I fear them even though I have had three of them (one really was an informal “we are pulling everyone in to explain to them†type of inspection) and I...

    CIA

NO NO NO NO NO........................... What is really wrong with this picture? Why is a CIA anything allowed to speak up, let alone write a book? The premise that their job was to do a lot of things to protect our country and keep quiet about their work seems to have gone to the wayside...

How many EO members use Linux

But.... Lawrence..... Since Apple has moved to a Linux based OS for Mac.... And..... Since Apple is now using Intel based processors instead of Motorola based processors..... What is the difference between a Mac using Mac OS X and an Intel runing Linux? It is interesting that you mention...

    Portable Generator choices for Van...

    >Somebody posted a picture of a Sprinter with a hitch >receiver mounted on front. The receiver held a hitch mount >cargo carrier, which in turn held the generator. Having the >generator up front and out of the way seems like a good >idea. Except when you hit something, BOOM!!!

    Aux Generator Questions

    1) Any one have an alternator rebuilt? Yes I have several times, no biggie. Did the Delcos and Chryslers myself and the fords I had a company do. What is the common cause? Usually it is the diodes that will fail, the second thing is the brushes but with internal regulated ones, the regulator...

Adding Cruise Control to GM van

Hey if you are really a parts hunter, go to http://www.car-part.com/ and look for used parts. Shhhhh...... Don't tell anyone about that site, it is a real money maker for me.

House Bill to Redefine Commercial Vehicle

I think instead of changing the definitions, just exempt them on the state level instead with some sort of colalition. They did it for the non-profits so why not for the farmer too.

    Portable Generator choices for Van...

Well let's see, if the generator is rated at 2000 watts, I think that the surge capability may be 2200 watts. So 2000 watts at 115 volts is roughly 17 amps - 2000/115 = 17.xxxxxx(you know that bad formula, Ohms Law?)
