    Newbie Important Question

And even sometimes with all of that they can still call you. I've had them call and then apologize because they didn't look at the notes that I had already called or updated to qc. It's annoying but it happens at most carriers. But not all the time.

looking for advice on wheel base of a straight truck

What carrier will you run for? Some like fedex will call that a 'c' unit and limit your loads because of that, others won't. A 22' box is a "d" unit at fedex and is why a lot of trucks are outfitted that way. Also gives you 2' of room upfront to keep your freight securement, pallet jack, hand...

    Expediter Services Vs. Mayfield Express

I've wondered about AA. We are looking into western star trucks and AA seems to have done a lot of sleepers on them. Just not nearly as much talk about them as there is on bolt, ari and ict.

    Expediter Services Vs. Mayfield Express

Idk about that. Most people with ari sleepers claim ari is the best. I don't own any now but I will be looking at both bolt and ari for my next truck.

Ahh. Yeah , factory sleepers aren't the biggest.

    Expediter Services Vs. Mayfield Express

The old kw's were both the short 72" and the bigger 86". U may have seen the little one. Panther got a mix of little and large sleepers. Fedex got all big sleepers. Now they are updating to 72" cascadia's which are much larger than the kW 72".

    Sleeper on m2 straight 26ft

Such a good looking Pete you had. I'm really hoping freightliner will get enough attention with the argosy glider that they actually re-introduce it with the dd13 in the US. I'd love to build a daycab argosy out to a expediter rig with an ari and a Morgan body.

    Team Showers

Loves is the same way. Just tell them at the counter you want a team shower and it uses just 1 shower credit. A lot of flying j's and pilots don't want you to print a shower certificate from the kiosk if your going to be team. They swipe your pfj card behind the counter and give you 2 showers...

CR or DR unit, no sleeper

That makes sense. I just figured it would fall to supply chain or similar. I guess that's us too.

CR or DR unit, no sleeper

I was in the Vegas area and I noticed a FDCC Cr or Dr unit with no sleeper out there. I thought maybe it was a Texas sleeper built into the box but I got a good look at it and noticed there was not a cutout in the back wall. Anyone know about what this is for? Just sparked my curiosity.

    Rigmaster APU problems

Hmmm. I guess I need to try and do that. I am used to going to tk to get it done but it can't be more difficult than changing the oil on my f150. 21,170 hours on this tripak. Engine and cover are original everything else has been replaced once or twice or six times.

    Rigmaster APU problems

At first I was thinking that was crazy expensive because a new tripak Evo has a 1500 maint interval, but it's $300 at thermoking so 1500/150=10 and 10x$29.99= 299.99 so it comes to about the same. Plus I'm guessing no new alternator in the onan every 2,000 hours.

How are the maint intervals on the onan?

    Rigmaster APU problems

Lol. Sadly all I have experience with is tripak. None with onan... And tripak uses espar and I'm a true believer in the espar product. Kept us nice and warm up in Edmonton late last year.
