Good morning!
If you were a leased owner operator to a company, I don't see how you can be told when you can and can't run. Technically, you are not an employee, but sub contracted to them. I don't think they will like it, however.
Some companies do have an age limit on the leased...
I agree with Mr. LDB. A 1 ton highest roof and at least 144" cargo carrying capacity is the best bet. What would you gain by having anything less? To have a full van at 2 skids and nowhere to sleep? More carriers are wanting 3 skid capacity vans anyways. That 1 time that you are surrounded by 2...
I'm curious as to what average rate per loaded mile, as well as all miles, you are getting to run 3,000 miles a week...
It's not about the miles, It's about the money. Work smarter, not harder.
I prefer Anytime fitness because of the more locations they have, in addition to the private showers. I often heard that Planet Fitness has open, non private showers. Because I am a caring concerned kinda guy, I would never want to haunt, maim or terrorize anyone seeing my pillowy fluffy body.
There are a group of people that I loathe in this world...Bozos, Zuckerberg, Biden, Pelosi, and Harris, just to name a few...lol..all are useless unneeded parasites.....
PHEW!!!! I feel so much better now!...lol..
Haven't been on it in years...way too nosey and intrusive for me...realizing that I was wasting too much time on it...becoming addicted to what gossip was being spread around on there.. however, it was a good way to communicate and connect with friends...
I remember when you sold it to Scott. It was impressingly very clean and solid. I was always taught that a person's vehicle is a reflection of oneself.
I agree. Preventative maintenance is a major key of lowest cost of ownership. I am the same way, overly anal about replacing things, fluids, checking, , etc...725,000 miles, 10 years, and my Econoline 350 has only broke down only 4 times. Definitely a real workhorse.
The Nissan NV series van has been axed from their vehicle lineup, for whatever reason. Such a shame it being a 2 skid capacity van from the start. I feel it could of done so much better in sales if it was at least a 144" inch inside length vehicle right from the beginning. The Nissan dealer lots...
Sprinters , in my option, are the most comfortable and driver freindly. Quiet, excellent hvac. But most likely the most expensive to purchase and maintain and repair. A very finicky vehicle. I agree with you on a Dodge. Probably the cheapest to buy, but also the lowest resale value, not that...
Well, that's a lot of risk, eventually going out on your own. But that's you're choice, I hope it works out for you. Have $$$$ set aside for when you have to wait for payment from customers....unless you plan on using a factoring service. Watch " Everything Apax" on YouTube. Alan Paxton is...
Glad to hear that you are doing well. I'm always in the Akron/Canton area getting loaded..yes, I grew up in MOTL, by Ekleys corners. I absolutely love it here, right on the lake. Yell if you need anything..
I often think the same thing, but after hearing my freinds complain about their mundane jobs, I realize that my freedom in this job makes it all worthwhile.
You live around the Chardon, Ohio area don't you? I'm on my way home to Mentor to work on the replacement van for a week. Anything I can do for you while I am close?
You are welcome. They should be able to give you a printout of the data in the ECM. May be worth a lot in the future. Also, a engine history report from the dealer from the past repairs that were made at the dealers, if taken to any Hino dealer, as they should of entered the repairs into the...
Avoid idling as much as possible. Look at the hours on the engine ecm and divide those total hours into the total miles on the odometer to give you an average mpg. The lower the mpg average, the more it was idled, usually. One hour of idling used to equal 72 miles of wear and tear on the...
