    August. Where you at,

Sylectus isn't the only game in town. But this number has doubled, I think, in the past few years. Have the load counts doubled? Just my two cents.

    August. Where you at,

You aren't seriously asking if a larger carrier will broker out loads just to sell them cheaper than their own fleet costs?????????? You've been doing this long enough. That's pretty standard. Bolt is NOT the only one. Fed, LS, Bolt & a few more that I'll refrain from mentioning. COMMON. The...

    Cargo Van CIS news!

    A-men, brother Ben!!!!

Cargo Van Did they act fair?

It comes down to relationships. That carrier didn't give a shyte about its relationships with drivers. For example. TONIGHT, we had a load go south. Driver had 58 miles X2 in miles invested to moving to the pick. So 116 miles later he had no freight ONLY because the shipper "changed their...

    Cargo Van CIS news!

But NO ONE wants the rates to go there. This industry is suffering at the hand of people that regularly bid 70-90 CPM total rate. And I mean regularly. Not the Laredo, KC, Dallas, etc exceptions. But all the bids. When 75 cpm is the norm, this industry is screwed. And bad. As most do, we try...

    Cargo Van CIS news!

Yeah. $500 for two is NOT the same as the insurance we have. Insurance costs a small fortune. Ok, maybe a medium fortune. But if one is to be insured to the proper levels and the levels that the industry wants, suck it up Buttercup. Swim with the big fish or GET OUT OF THE WATER.

Very good! We'll cross that bridge. At least you KNOW we'll work around ANYTHING the doc says. You know this business. You know better or as well as we do. We work for you. Not vice-versa. [emoji106][emoji106]

    Cargo Van CIS news!

My guess is they look at it as a comparison of jobs. Work a register at a convenience store. Maybe $400. Flip burgers. Maybe $350. Clean construction sites. Maybe $400-600. Wash cars. Maybe $350-$450. Run a c/v or older Sprinter or yellow for 60-70 cpm and spend 40-50 cpm operating...

    Sylectus

The LS offices seem to approve and pay at different rates. We have not experienced them as being fast payers. And we don't go for the "keep a little more of our money to pay us faster" method. Not saying you are. Just that we are not.

    Sylectus

Yes, we either run directly for all of those (9 of the listed) and indirectly for the other 2.

    Sylectus

There ya go. And Stu is a year out. [emoji53][emoji53]

    Sylectus

I don't doubt it. My limited knowledge of Sylectus requirements was right at the end of Stu's reign. I'm sure just about everything at Sylectus has changed. Yes, I read EVERY email notifying members of new carriers brought on board. I won't elaborate. But I read them all. I don't go to...

Be careful with all those laptops!!

    Sylectus

Haven't seen the current requirements but last I heard it was a 10 truck minimum. They charge a flat fee plus a per-unit charge. There are still plenty of carriers on Sylectus with fewer than 10 units but they qualified back when the minimum was either 5 or 1, depending on how many years...

Lower level family room. Will have my a/v system (with projector) that's been in boxes in the garage for 4 years. And we'll add a bat, too. Of course. [emoji482][emoji482] Looking forward to it. 4th bedroom off to the right of that room.
