Try the uniroyal liberator from walmart. I'm on my 4th set and got 111,000 out of the last one and they are made by michelin. Not bad for a 50,000 mile tire.

I had the same problem with my 04' chevy express. When I would just ease on the gas a little more it would shudder like I was driving over rumble strips. Had torque converter changed and the problem was fixed, that was a couple years ago. I think it may be possible you just got another bad...
