I found one bad tensioner pulley (the grinding sound) and the water pump pulley wiggles (the vibration). There is also minor evidence of coolant on the water pump housing. I'll put it in the shop after Christmas for a new water pump, tensioner pulley and 2 new belts.

Is there any reason I can't pull the belts, start the engine and see if it is still vibrating? The engine idles at 625 and there is quite a bit of vibration. At 690 it smoothes out. If it were a cam or valve problem wouldn't I be seeing exhaust smoke, loss of power or increased fuel consumption...

No oil or power loss. Temp and volts reading normal. Alternator is new. Not the fan clutch. Oil pressure is normal. I edited the OP to change the phrase from rough idle to vibration when idling. Sent from my EVO using EO Forums

What DD said is correct. The only dispatcher that will know that you are available for a local run will be the one that typed it into the notes. Enjoy your time off.

We have been on both percentage and flat rate at FedEx. On percentage we make more per mile but run less miles. Surprisingly at the end of the month our net profit was about equal on both plans. We are now on percentage and like it better because we drive less to make the same amount.

We have unlimited texting and everything else too. For some reason we will miss a call and only find out when we are alerted that we have a new voicemail. Then we rush to call into the system before it expires. It seems that we get our text messages quickly, even when we have a poor cell signal.

It's my understanding that it is just a notification that an opp has been sent to the C Link. You would then have to call in (Option 6) or go to the truck and check the C Link. It has been available for quite awhile but we never used it. To activate it just call your CC.

We just had the load opp notification by text message option activated today. Any opinions on using this feature? Does it only notify you if you are showing available on C Link or will it send a text if you are available on the VRU also? We have noticed that when we are in poor cell coverage...
