We've tossed the idea back and forth about going back to tractor/trailer team runs because the "home time" is on a regular schedule. 3 weeks out, 1 week home. BUT...when we figure in what those 3 weeks would be like, you'd need a week home just to recouperate. We don't mind running hard, but...

The problem is the same with the 387 as it is with the Kenworth T2000....No Ground Plane. We found a workable solution by installing a single antenna on the grab handle. It isn't a great solution but it helps.

If the box is higher than the dock, then lower the airbags, if the dock is the same height then leave the airbags inflated. We lower the dollys when a forklift is being used, and we use a chock as well.

We have 3 guides in the truck and have found stops listed in each of them that aren't listed in the others. But for ease of use, we use the Pocket Truckstop Guide, because the listings are by state, hwy and exit # as opposed to state/city

We found a Black & Decker 6 cup pot at K-Mart. If you fill the pot to the rim with water, it will fill 2 travel mugs. It doesn't take up much room either.

I keep a whisk broom behind the seat and whenever we stop, it's a quick brush. It's not perfect, but it sure keeps the dirt down. The mats for the steps help alot too!

What a refreshing change a simple thought provoking post can make. Thank you ATeam for the start of this thread, and thank you to the others that have added their thoughts. Sometimes we all get so wrapped up in the negative, it takes something like this to make us thankful :)

Regarding ATM receipts and bank charges, our bank lists the ATM fees and services charges separately, so is the bank statement documentation ok, or do I still need to keep the actual receipt? Thanks :)
