Winter, straight truck starting problems Hino specifically

I have WEBASTO heaters in the sleepers in some of my trucks. Boy, do they ever work great! Never thought to look to see if WEBASTO had a system to heat the engine. THANKS for the suggestion!

Winter, straight truck starting problems Hino specifically

If your truck is still under warranty, they can NOT charge you to come jump start it, regardless if it's plugged in or not. I called HINO to come jump start my trucks several times last winter when my guys 'forgot' to plug them in when they were either home or in a motel. Never got charged...

Winter, straight truck starting problems Hino specifically

Calling the roadside service works BUT most of the time, the roadside service truck takes at least an hour to show up. I've had to call them several times, somtimes when one of my trucks were under a load, and the roadside people are never quick. It all depends on where you are at the time, just...

Winter, straight truck starting problems Hino specifically

UUUhhhhh, DAKOTA, are you agreeing that I need my beauty rest or agreeing about getting up every 2 hours to start the truck ? :) :)

You know anyone who has lost their job?

My little sis lost her job earlier this spring when the small trucking company she was manager for 'down sized' and 'did away' with her position. Truth be told, the owner of the company had her train his college drop out son for months then once he was trained to run the business, they did away...

Winter, straight truck starting problems Hino specifically

I have 10 of those HINO's and have not experienced any of the problems you mentioned except for the starting during real cold temperatures. Unfortunately the only things I found to do were to: 1. Scout out a power source and keep the truck plugged in 2. Keep the truck running (getting up...

    dogs

I've always taken my black lab with me. He was always well behaved, loved to ride, and was great protection. He's 16 now and can hardly move from the effects of a stroke last year. Unfortunately his days riding in the truck are now over.

    Different christmas gifts

OK, I realize that christmas is still a couple months away but there's no time like the present to get started on gifts. I get tired of the same old stuff so this year I came up with this idea: my dad had a massive stroke last yr & we almost lost him...so this year I thought that I'd sit down...

    Fridges & micros

This is a 3 part question for those of you who do NOT have an APU on your truck: Do you use a refrigerator and/or a microwave .....How often do you use either of them, AND how do you run them when the truck is NOT running?

    Markie did it again!!!

Mark Martin won the first chase race today. For an older guy to do this good along side with all the younger whipper snappers, I think is awesome. He's such a nice guy and runs clean. Way to go Markie!!! :)

    Truckstop showers

We carry a spray bottle of CLOROX CLEAN-UP with us and not only use it to disinfect truck stop showers but also motel showers. It's cheap and you can buy it in most department and grocery stores.

    What would you do?????????

The driver that was caught drinking in my truck was caught by 2 of his co-drivers, who did NOT do the right thing and come forward until well after the fact. Eo has strict rules that we all have to obey, and one of them is to NOT name names. BTW corey1234, you are well aware of who's names I...

    What would you do?????????

Nope...NOT dougie...he is, in fact, one of my disgruntled ex -drivers who did some things that he shouldn't have done and will be dealt with in a court of law by me......NOT here on EO, which is as it should be. I have found that most of the time people who play the games & try to ruin people...

    What would you do?????????

I WILL go on record to say to everyone that I have NEVER falsified anyone's record ever and don't need to for any reason. I'm one of those people who keep meticulous records and document everything. I find it amusing and sad when people choose to 'hide' behind their true identity and choose to...
