    Why'd July to dispatch ??

Well, moved to Laredo from McAllen for a load that was supposed to cross Friday, still waiting on the shipper to send invoice to the broker, load has been at the border since Thursday night. So tell me again why this freight is expedite? Oh I know why, they take so much time screwing off with it...

Starter Rig - Build Or Buy? (Straight Truck)

I am not partial to the rental trucks. Buy a relatively newer sprinter/transit/promaster. Also have enough money to run for 4 to 6 months so that way you can be broke in a yr instead of 3 months. Without learning this industry driving for a fleet owner, odds are against you with learning curve...

How many miles on your Promaster

2 reasons I stayed away from the diesel was the automated manual transmission and the def/dpf issues.

How many miles on your Promaster

I have 97,500 or so on my 2016 Gas Promaster. Bought in October of 2015. So far have only had some minor issues that were corrected. And I have replaced 4 headlight bulbs...damn good at doing so now too.. 15 mins to do them.

Low prices are killing this month!ppl bending over like crazy!

THANK YOU! This has become 40 pages of what if's and but if's...and you wonder why noone has to ever worry about drivers uniting. You guys will split hairs to the point where it's about your own ego and not about the subject... Please agree to disagree at some point or like OVM said...who...

Delivered 2 hours ago in Birmingham, AL. After reviewing the last 6 weeks and 2 days, even with some longer paid moves at $0.35/mile, I avg'd $0.774 per mile. Not bad at all. Add $425 for the fuel cost of my unpaid tourist miles where I drove the PCH (3 different sections at different times)...

That's OK, had an offer but they were bidding...El Paso to Anderson, SC...obviously our at cost rate wouldn't compete with these bottom rate carriers here. (Our cost is our contract rate... $.80 plus fsc)

Only problem with that is if he didn't take the move, he would have had to wait til Monday night to get a move again, and we had no one else in Dallas...I was headed there from Laredo or about to when they got me the Brownsville to El Paso run.
