Re: Texas executed an innocent man We have been down this road before. They can, and do, kill other inmates, guards etc. Just locking them up is NOT 100%. They can, and do, escape too. It is NOT 100%.

Way off topic

The knees are responding well to the weight loss. I can now walk for about 1/2 when before the weight loss I could only do about 10 minutes. I speaking on concrete, like the floors in malls and stores. In the woods, on soft ground I can walk for much longer.

We know how to fix these problems, but as per normal, government is in charge and it does nothing of value. As long as we have government as we do now, nothing will change.

And now we know why nothing of value ever gets done. It's more fun to make fun of people than to do anything of value.

As in the US, MOST of the work on wetlands is being done by Ducks Unlimited and other private conservation groups. Canada's record in this regard is as bad as ours.

Parts of SE Michigan are affected by the Toledo water problems. There are a few areas that buy their water from the Toledo system. Our area is included in that water use ban since the "south county" water system buys it's water from Toledo. No word when the water will be safe to use again
