    Redundant questions of an expediter

Well, for the percentage they pay you, they should pay for that. Also, if you're an employee and not an independent contractor, I'm pretty sure that it's mandatory for the employer to provide the workers comp. (or occupational), unless they're from Texas (TX is the only state where is not mandatory)

    A Panther App COOOOOL

I totally agree with you, and I'm sure that many others do too... maybe years ago the QC was somewhat helpful, but nowadays with all the new tech and smartphones, it's more like a scam, a tool for carriers to get some extra money from the drivers.

    You're talking about the occupational?

    Try Hours

I've been talking to the TH people, they seem to be a nice and honest team, but I'd like to hear from people that are or were working with them, what should I expect if I sign with them... Any help?

    Redundant questions of an expediter

Well, in that case isn't that bad, if you don't have to pay for anything. Yet, I'd rather go for 1099 than 1040...

    Redundant questions of an expediter

Kinda ridiculous 800-1600 miles per week for a team... you better try to drive a cargo van, for sure you'll get at least 1800 miles/wk driving solo...

    Toll fees

I don't know if I should say that sucks big time or that we're lucky for not being in Europe, where almost every E.U. country has toll freeways. I went once to Paris and from the Luxembourg border to Paris I paid almost as much I paid for the fuel. And I was driving just a regular car...

    Difficulty with insurance

For T/T is cheaper because there are tons of insurers, while for expediters not so many. That's why they rip us off. I don't know if Benchmark covers for TN, but you should give it a try. They're way cheaper than CIS...

    insurance

CIS was once the best place to get a reasonable price. Not anymore. Try Benchmark, but I don't know if they cover trucks from Illinois... Anyway, if that $5000/year includes the cargo insurance too, take it!

One Man Fight to Save the Expedited Trucking Industry

From my POV, I don't think we actually care that much about others safety, as much as we care about our own wallet. I don't know how much illegally they run, but they do runs for peanuts just to keep their wheels spinning...

No, just the pads. Yes, I know, that was a 200 bux job... :(

    Bad truck or bad driver?

None of my other trucks had any kind of problems, 'cept this one.

ATTN All owners/fleet owners & carriers

I was just trying to give you an idea... of course there are specifications. As a matter of fact I had this problem with a guy, he worked almost two weeks, then the third week he used my truck for his own interest, refusing to return the truck. He did it only when he heard the word "police"...
