Take a few minutes and search thru the threads on that subject and you'll find the answers you seek, or I'll just tell ya. The best of the best is CIS, give them a call!

depending on what extra riders you have on the policy that seems correct....
just watch your replacement vehicle amount some tend to over value their van...just because you insure it for 30,000 doesn't mean you will ever see that amount when they prorate with mileage and do their whacky math....

Berkshire-Hathaway does, but I found their quotes to be mucho expensive. $5K is within the norm.
My opinion ... Progressive through CIS is the way to go.
Couple of insurance inquiries in the past day .... perhaps the pot is getting stirred ...

I had to go with Progressive Direct Commercial....CIS is not licensed for South Dakota....

Canal Insurance is also one of the insurers in this market, with competitive rates and coverage to Progressive and Berkshire.

There's CIS and there's everyone else. CIS arguably knows everything there is to know about expediting insurance. Their people are as good to work with as anyone possibly could be. Because of the depth of their knowledge they know how to tailor a package that gets you the most coverage for the fairest premium. Good luck.

Just remember to get the proper coverages at the correct limits. 5k for ins. sounds about right. Mine was recently quoted at 5900.

thats not a fair appraisel....just because they don't advertise here or mingle with our type here?...they could have agents that were former CIS agents...
Berkshire policies have been accepted by all the major carriers and their audits...they also know what they are doing....it seems

I mean CIS is good and all and have seemed to find a niche that needs to be served and Shelley and company have focused on serving our insurance needs maybe more so then anyone else.....

that said...I was impressed with Progress Commercial as well.....the advise not to waste my money on a replacement vehicle rider when they in ll likelihood would just total me out and pay me nothing based on value of a million mile anchor....keep the $1,000 they would charge me for $10,000 worth of coverage minus another $1,000 for the deductable...and pay for any deer hits myself...just pray its a small deer!! LOL .I do have uninsured motorist coverage tho

If I was not able to get on my carriers policy I would not be driving, the best quote I could get with progressive for my straight truck and sprinter was 14k a year for just liability.

I used to feel that way too, but there are other fish in the sea, shop around, it pays off.

Yes, there are others and I'm sure some of them are good. CIS is a known entity, no guesswork or shopping around. When I had vehicles to cover they got me the best rate and I did shop it around. The excellent service was a welcome bonus. My thoughts on the subject. YMMV.

I'll vouch for Progressive Commercial as well .... We tried CIS first, but, they don't write for our home state and were kind enough to provide the correct phone number to reach the commercial group @ Progressive. 800-895-2886 will get you to the right group 24/7/365. We've had a need to reach them on nights and weekends several times and have always received prompt, courteous, and professional assistance from a real live person.

CIS was once the best place to get a reasonable price. Not anymore. Try Benchmark, but I don't know if they cover trucks from Illinois... Anyway, if that $5000/year includes the cargo insurance too, take it!

Again you have to compare the coverage not just the price. Cheap insurance or true coverage?
