Last time I ate at FJ restaurant was back in 2007, at Haw River location. They brought us the cutlery, nicely wrapped in a paper napkin, and when I opened them up, they were full of ants. Live ants. The next minute we were out and never dared to eat again at any FJ restaurant (Denny's don't count!).

Mistakenly I may haul a 3200 (I mean if the shipper is cheating on the weight), but 4000... c'mon, not even if it's paid $2.00/mi... they're not gonna pay for the repairs if the van breaks in half...

I never stop at tiny truck stops, or I'd rather call them fuel stops. Surprising rules and surprising people are everywhere...

Freelance urinators are everywhere. Been once at HEB in Eagle Pass, TX waiting for the next run, and two spots away from me pulled a pickup truck, a guy came out and started doing his needs. Also, at Frying J in Laredo, you'll see daily this kind of stuff, no matter if they're expediters or...

Oh boy... Something like, but not THAT bad, I found in one of my trucks. That guy, aviation engineer by his main profession, drove the van two weeks and a half, kept it for his personal purposes another week, and with only 11k miles on board, it was looking like a trash can, not a trash truck...

Actually I think he was trying to get as much as he could from me since he knew that his following paychecks are disastrous... They're not even covering the damages he brought...

UPDATE: The vehicle was recovered!

I rarely scream... I let my wife to do it for me... :D Yes, I recovered the van. Filthy, items missing or broken and an empty tank. As a bonus, over 5000 miles added besides the official driven miles. And all in a little over two months.

I called his former carrier when he already started to give me hard time... I know, my bad...

It looks like he already found a new victim, since he claimed that next Wednesday he starts working for someone else. And yeah, I hope I'll get back my truck. For now he is near Goshen, IN stuck in a gas station without fuel, begging for fuel money. At least that's what he says. Yes, I asked the...
