I thought once about the ferry from Marine City, MI but I didn't know if the cargo vans are allowed, so I didn't try. Other than that, I used the Transatlantic once, one year ago, and I can say that it was an amazing experience.
I presume so, since they told me that it'll cost me maybe more to repair it than replacing it. I wasn't there to see the damage, but since two shops gave the same option, I guess that was the truth...
Actually it's more than triple... the QC basically costs $40/mo while some carriers are charging even $35/week (that'll be about $155/mo). Plus other tricks covered under the "fee" name for different things that an honest carrier won't do it...
I believe Geo is doing it locally... if you want OTR, CEVA ain't the carrier you're looking for. Nice people, the pay is good, but lots of deductions and not too many runs. I've been there...
Not quite so... for one thing, most of the carriers do not accept you to work with multiple carriers, then what if they call you and they want you to go right away for a load, yet you're not able to do so since you're not done with the local deliveries...
They asked me if I want to pickup on Thursday morning from Dallas and deliver direct to Midland, TX... Automatically my bad mouth said NO. Few minutes later I was asking myself why didn't I tell the guy that I'll do it for two bucks per mile. Well, I know they'll never pay that kind of money...
