This time of the year is the slow time. Many plants are on mandatory shut down for maintenance. Things should start to slowly pick back up over the next few weeks as these plants start to come back online. Hang on in there.

It will not be done because DOT is having plenty to do to keep up with the 10000+ ib trucks. They would have to hire as many new officers as there are now or more to accomplish this.

New Promaster would work in my book if you can afford it ana hopefully most if not all kinks were fixed with the older versions. What company are you going with and why can’t you use their fleet ins? Would be a whole lot cheaper. Hopefully that helps out a bit.

The question begs to be asked, so i will ask it. Since you are a team (and btw eld’s wouldn’t hurt you at all) would you feel the same way if you were a solo? I felt the same way at one time but not with installing ELD’s though.
