    How new to buy?

It is a policy, I've seen the signs at guard shacks but never been asked in 100's of deliveries.

    How new to buy?

I've never been asked what year my vans or sprinters were at any auto plant. I imagine that's more for dock high vehicles that forklifts drive on.

    Welcome September

My guess is aerodynamics. The new model is pretty big and tall so there's only so much a 2.1L can do, no matter how many gears. My Duramax with 6.6L averages close to 25 mpg but that's in a low roof van and "tuned".

Does FedEx still run the BR sprinters?

Phil, back when you were running there was there enough loads that would fit in these if utilized properly, or was not being dock high an impediment?

Does FedEx still run the BR sprinters?

I'd guess there's plenty of work for them but they weren't utilized properly (easier to throw it on a ST)
