I suppose I should do the oil change on the van in the warmth OR I could do that guy thing and wait till the temp drops in the next few days and then whine how cold it is out there?.....hahahaha

Part #H7. Truck stops have them at some. Walmart advance etc from $8 each to $60 for hi end pair. I ran the ZXE high end and burned drivers side twice. Now have truck stop cheapo and works great.
Bought mine at Advance. Can't recall the size. I googled it initially.
H7 is what my 2005 sprinter takes...they ain't new.......

Are you already signed up with Landstar? I know they sometimes call carriers direct for loads. I have dealt with one of their brokers out of Colorado a lot for loads out of the Houston area.

We're approved and run a good bit of their freight direct through them or some agents. We're not on a "hey call Crossroads" basis with them but invoice them at least a few times a week for LS and LSE loads.
Some of their agents are quite friendly with us but they are still pretty dollar driven. And we're not usually rock bottom price.
For good reason. 10 reasons to be exact.

Thinking about going back to dispatching for a full truck load company out of chicago...It was sweet gig, I worked from the comfort of my own home office @ home a lot of times, as I didn't feel like driving to the office. I had a blast negotiating with these brokers and building relationship with brokers via booking loads, emails, phone calls. I had 6 53' vans 2 48 reefers and 1 53 reefer. That was all I had to worry about is to keep those running for rates that will pay the driver, pay the operating costs on the trucks and make some $ to the company.
..Kind of tired of driving, at least during this winter season, when freight is slow and weather is unpredictable.
