TravelCenters of America Releases Next TruckSmart® Mobile App Update

WESTLAKE, Ohio--TravelCenters of America LLC (TravelCenters) operator of the TA® and Petro Stopping Centers® travel center brands, has released another update to its free TruckSmart® Mobile App. This update provides new functionality for professional drivers, including the ability to redeem UltraONE® Points for Interstate Speedzone WiFi packages.

Now, drivers who are members of the UltraONE Driver Rewards Program can quickly and easily redeem their accumulated Points for WiFi packages through the app. These transactions were previously only available through the Interstate Speedzone website.

“Once a driver enters their UltraONE card number and PIN into the account set-up tab on the app, they can then log into their Interstate Speedzone account to purchase WiFi with their UltraONE Points,” said Tom O’Brien, President and CEO of TravelCenters. “We also recently enabled the WiFi to allow two devices to access a WiFi account, which accommodates team drivers or those with multiple devices, such as a smartphone and tablet,” he added. “We continue to look to add functions to the app that will help drivers be more efficient.”

Drivers can also see specific UltraONE member specials with this new app update.

With more than 300,000 downloads to iPhone and Android users, TruckSmart is the only travel center mobile app that offers the Instant Shower feature. Through the app, UltraONE® Driver Rewards Program members can reserve a shower at nearby location, pay for it with credits or Points, be placed in the queue, and receive an email when the shower is ready … all without stepping foot in the travel center.

All of the other features that have vaulted TruckSmart to be one of the top apps in the industry remain, including access to UltraONE account balances and recent transactions, fuel prices, shower and parking availability, and one-touch calling for Reserve-Itâ„¢ parking reservations and RoadSquadâ„¢ anywhere, anytime, emergency roadside service.

TruckSmart is available for Android and iPhone smartphones. Drivers without an iPhone or Android can access the app through any HTML5 browser at www.trucksmartapp.com.
