Sylectus Dispatch and Brokerage software now integrates with Qualcomm’s “Hours of Service” to provide users with near real-time visibility of driver’s status and report data.

Woodhaven, Michigan and Windsor, Ontario — August 27, 2010 —

Sylectus (a division of GPSNet Technologies Inc.) has completed their integration with Qualcomm Incorporated’s “Hours of Service”.  “Hours of Service” is Qualcomm’s electronic on-board recording (EOBR) system that streamlines compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.  A driver’s compliance status is now available on many of the “Driver Profile” and “Dispatch” screens within the Sylectus Dispatch and Brokerage software.

Hours of Service data is also used to proactively warn dispatchers of potential “Hours of Service” violations so that companies can take appropriate action and operate safely and efficiently. With the upcoming CSA 2010legislative deadline approaching, Sylectus’ integration of Qualcomm’s Hours of Service will prove to be a valuable tool to help fleets proactively manage safety and compliance.

“The advanced technology provided by Qualcomm to monitor a driver’s hours of service is impressive,” said Stuart Sutton, President of Sylectus.  “By providing access to the data from Hours of Service to a dispatcher in our Sylectus dispatch and logistics TMS (Transportation Management System), carriers can benefit from this valuable safety and compliance management tool.”

The new “Hours of Service” interface is already paying dividends for Try Hours expediting from Maumee, Ohio who have been piloting the software interface for the past few months.  According to Tim Wojkiewicz, President of Try Hours, “We have always strived to be the safest fleet possible.  This new integrated Sylectus interface to Qualcomm’s Hours of Service provides us the tools we need to meet our stringent safety standards.”

This “ Sylectus TMS” integration with Qualcomm’s Hours of Service is another example of the Sylectus strategy to provide their customers with the latest, state-of-the-art value-added tools.

About Sylectus
The vision of Sylectus was rather unique. Take a group of competing companies that share similar business issues and get them to make more money by selling each other’s products.  For the companies that have bought into this business philosophy, the rewards have been handsome. Subscribers to the Sylectus software have shared access to a much larger fleet ... thereby allowing them to say YES to their customers more often. Likewise, they share the availability of their own fleet with other subscribers so that their drivers keep moving with better paying loads.

The premier product of Sylectus is their AlliancePro Dispatch, Brokerage and Logistics Software. It combines customer management, fleet management (including compliance testing), order entry (integrated with mileage and mapping), NLM integration, rating, billing, EDI, driver pay, direct deposit, document imaging, Qualcomm product integration, GPS Cell Phone tracking and communication, customer track and trace, FleetVision (Owner Operator and Fleet Owner portal), Virtual Fleet, automatic ETA calculations, street level routing and directions, automatic customer e-mail notifications, integration with accounting tools like QuickBooks, Peachtree, Accpac, Great Plains or Platinum and much, much more.  For more information, visit their website at www.sylectus.com.
